Additionally, you won\u2019t have to dread going to the dentist if you practice good oral hygiene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Most commercial oral hygiene products are replete with a variety of chemicals. Rather than putting these chemicals into your body, there are many natural products that are beneficial for your oral and overall health. For example, there are numerous anti-inflammatory and antibacterial herbs that can <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dherbs.com\/articles\/5-diy-toothpaste-recipes-for-healthier-teeth\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">keep your teeth and gums healthy<\/a>. Sadly, there is no replacement for flossing and brushing. You can also brush with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dherbs.com\/store\/activated-charcoal-p-205.html?sgst=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">activated charcoal<\/a>&nbsp;to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dherbs.com\/store\/natural-tooth-powder-p-364.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">naturally whiten your teeth<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Essential Oil Mouth Rinse<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ingredients:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>1 ounce <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dherbs.com\/store\/ingredient_search.html?ingredient=Peppermint&amp;id=74#containing\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"53\" title=\"Herbal products containing Peppermint\">peppermint<\/a> essential oil<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 ounce spearmint essential oil<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 ounce lemon essential oil<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 ounce star anise essential oil<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Instructions:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Mix all of the oils in a dark bottle. When you are ready to use, add a few drops of the mixture to 4oz. of filtered water and rinse your mouth. Swish the mixture around and spit it out. Repeat until the water is used up.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>After you are done, rinse your mouth with water.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Mint &amp; Rosemary Mouthwash<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ingredients:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u00bd cup fresh rosemary<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 cup mint leaves<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 quart of boiling water<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 tablespoons vegetable glycerin (try to get the one made from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dherbs.com\/store\/ingredient_search.html?ingredient=Coconut+Oil&amp;id=266#containing\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"25\" title=\"Herbal products containing Coconut Oil\">coconut oil<\/a>)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Instructions:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Boil the water in a large pot. Once the water is boiling, turn off the heat, throw the herbs in, and let the mixture cool.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strain the liquid into a sterile bottle and pour in the vegetable glycerin. Cover and store in a cool, dark place<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Rinse your mouth with this solution once a day for 2 weeks and you should notice a difference in your oral health.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Goldenseal Mouthwash<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ingredients:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>1 teaspoon dried goldenseal<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 cup hot water<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Instructions:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Boil the dried goldenseal in the water and then let the mixture cool. Strain the mixture into a sterile glass container and store it in the fridge.
