During pregnancy, the body undergoes a lot of changes beyond the growing bump. In addition to the hormonal shifts and hunger cravings, many pregnant people develop stretch marks on their belly, thighs, hips, breasts, and more. There is no miracle solution to prevent these pregnancy stretch marks, but there are moisturizing oils, butters, and balms that may help reduce the appearance.

Stretch marks are scars that occur under the skin. They appear when the skin stretches quickly, for example, during pregnancy, rapid weight gain or loss, and puberty. Using a natural stretch mark cream while pregnant helps hydrate and moisturize the belly as it expands. That may help reduce the appearance of stretch marks, but there is one thing to remember: stretch marks are perfectly natural, even if you dislike the look of them. In this article, we’ll cover some ingredients that may help reduce the appliance of stretch marks during or after pregnancy

Coconut Oil

As previously mentioned, stretch marks scar under the skin. According to studies, the skin can easily absorb coconut oil, whereby it may prevent free radical damage. This is due to the lauric acid content, which easily penetrates the skin’s layers and has a positive effect on collagen production. Coconut oil is highly emollient and works to keep the skin moisturized. That makes the skin more elastic and less prone to stretch marks. The anti-inflammatory properties also aid with the healing process of existing stretch marks over time. More studies are necessary to prove whether or not coconut oil can reduce stretch mark appearance, though.

Sweet Almond Oil

A great source of nourishment for the skin, sweet almond oil is an excellent moisturizing agent and may help the skin look more youthful. It may be a great home remedy for stretch marks as well. Stretch marks can be accompanied by dry skin or general irritation, and almond oil can help keep those symptoms at bay. Sweet almond oil works to enhance skin barrier function, penetrating layers of the epidermis, which may benefit stretch marks.

Shea Butter

Shea butter works to hydrate the skin and improve skin cell growth. Skin that is more healthy and supple is much less likely to scar. Stretching that causes stretch marks, especially during pregnancy, can be quite extreme. Although keeping the skin moisturized will help reduce the appearance, it will not prevent stretch marks from occurring. That means that shea butter cannot prevent stretch marks, but it can help minimize the amount of damage. Areas of skin that already have stretch marks may benefit from shea butter application. Shea butter contains triglycerides and esters that help lock moisture in and improve skin barrier function.

Cocoa Butter

Recent research found that civilizations have used cocoa butter since 445 A.D. for its medicinal properties. Cocoa butter contains catechin, a naturally occurring antioxidant that exhibits antibacterial properties. Cocoa butter also penetrates the skin more easily than other butters. It’s the only butter that can reach down to the middle layer of the skin, the dermis. This layer possesses the connective tissue, which is responsible for collagen and elastin production. By enhancing the production of these two proteins, cocoa butter may encourage skin regeneration and help reduce or prevent stretch marks.

DIY Belly Butter For Stretch Marks

Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons each: sweet almond oil, coconut oil, shea butter, cocoa butter
  • 1.5 tablespoons beeswax
  • 3 teaspoons vitamin E oil
  • 20 drops neroli essential oil (optional)
  • 15 drops helichrysum essential oil
  • 15 drops lavender essential oil
  • 10 drops lemon essential oil

Instructions:

  • Add the sweet almond oil, coconut oil, shea butter, cocoa butter, and beeswax to the top of a double boiler over medium-low heat. Stir as the ingredients melt.
  • Once melted, stir the mixture and pour into a four-ounce container. Allow the mixture to harden completely.
  • Remove the hardened mixture and place into a bowl, where you’ll mix in the vitamin E oil and essential oils. Mix well to combine and then put the mixture back into a glass container, preferably one with dark glass.
  • Apply this butter at least once a day and allow it to soak in for 15 minutes before putting clothes over it, because it is quite oily. Store in a cool, dark place.

It can be quite shocking to look in the mirror and see wrinkles or fine lines that seemingly appeared overnight. This happens because the skin doesn’t age in a linear way, for example, from one birthday to the next. The skin ages depending on genetics, diet, overall health, and extrinsic factors, including sun exposure and smoking. You can, however, keep your complexion bright and beautiful by making a few lifestyle adjustments.

What Is Premature Aging?

For the average person, wrinkles and fine lines arrive during the late 20s and early 30s. It’s possible for signs of aging to occur earlier, also known as premature aging. By definition, premature aging is when a person’s biological age is older than their chronological age. Sun spots, dry or itchy skin, sagging skin, wrinkles, or fine lines are all indications of aging. These symptoms are the result of shortened telomeres, which cap DNA strands and prevent damage. As telomeres shorten, they can leave DNA exposed to damage, which his when signs of aging occur.

Many lifestyle factors are often to blame for the sped up rate at which telomeres shorten. Avoiding several bad habits, which are commonplace in many people’s lives, can help slow the aging process. If you want to keep the skin glowing and youthful, try to avoid the following habits as best you can.

Drinking Out Of A Straw

This is a common habit that can contribute to fine line development around the mouth. People who regularly drink beverages out of straws activate muscles around the lips. The more that you activate those muscles, the more likely you are to crease the skin. Smokers tend to get fine lines or wrinkles around the mouth for this same reason, according to Mayo Clinic. You don’t have to avoid straws altogether, but try to drink without them when you can to avoid fine line development.

Taking Certain Medications

Certain oral medications or prescribed topical ointments/creams can affect the skin’s appearance. Corticosteroids, for example, can decrease collagen and elastin in the skin, which causes the skin to thin. In turn, blood vessels can rupture more easily and lead to broken capillaries. Certain antibiotics and diuretics can cause photosensitivity, making skin more prone to sun damage, premature wrinkles, and pigmentation changes. Stopping these medications may not be an option for some people, so be mindful of sun exposure, taking precautions when necessary.

Sleep Deprivation

After a restless night of no sleep, it’s common to see dark circles under the eyes. Regular sleep deprivation can enhance the appearance of dark circles and other signs of aging like fine lines. According to research studies, insufficient sleep can make the body’s cells age more quickly. Not only does sleep deprivation cause premature aging, but it also decreases the skin’s ability to fo fight ultraviolet (UV) rays. The skin enters a renewal state during sleep, so make sure to get 7-8 hours of sleep per night for optimal skin health.

Yo-Yo Dieting

The cycle of regular weight loss and weight gain can be very harmful to the skin. Besides the appearance of stretch marks or cellulite, weight fluctuation stretches and contracts the skin. This takes a toll on the skin’s elasticity and can make it sag more than it should. Saggy skin only makes you look older, so it’s best to keep your weight in check. This can be difficult, but regular exercise and healthy eating can help improve elasticity and keep the skin looking young.

Using Drying Soap

Some people aren’t aware of the fact that their soaps contribute to older-looking skin. Some cheap bar or liquid soaps contain harsh detergents that strip the skin of its natural oils, causing dryness. Although dry skin doesn’t cause wrinkles, it does make wrinkles more noticeable. Additionally, dry skin cannot protect itself from irritants, bacteria, and viruses because the barrier isn’t as strong in a dehydrated state. Soap your skin responsibly with gentle soaps that contain moisturizing ingredients, especially if you use them on your face.

Eating Certain Foods

Consuming foods that contain a lot to processed ingredients and refined sugars can make your skin appear older. Glycation is the reaction between sugars and skin proteins (collagen and elastin) to form advanced glycation end products (AGEs). When a person consumes too many processed or refined sugars, it’s possible to experience AGE accumulation. This can impair skin elasticity and increase the risk of UV damage. Unfortunately, the effects of AGEs are irreversible because no enzymes can remove them from the body. It’s best to avoid processed sugars and ingredients for this reason.

Aging is a natural part of life, but seeing the physical results of this process is never exciting. The “damage” that results from aging comes in the form of wrinkles, fine lines, and loose skin. What can be done about this unsightly, yet natural process? While there are foods that encourage optimal collagen production and scrubs or masks that tighten skin, sometimes you just need a few powerful essential oils

Essential oils are extremely concentrated plant extracts that exhibit therapeutic benefits. Many essential oils offer antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, anti-fungal, antioxidant, and antimicrobial properties. They can help improve complexion, give life to dull hair, reduce the appearance of stretch marks, or even tighten loose skin. As long as you dilute essential oils in carrier oils, you can safely use them on your skin. To figure out the best carrier oil for your skin type, click here. Keep in mind that it’s always wise to do a patch test on a small area of skin to make sure you don’t negatively react to the oil.

Bergamot Essential Oil

If you drink Earl Grey tea, you are familiar with bergamot’s aroma. It comes from the rinds of the citrus fruit that the bergamot tree produces. Aromatherapists commonly use bergamot essential oil to promote calm and relaxation. The oil contains limonene, which is a potent antioxidant that is essential for optimal skin health. It also offers nerol, myrcene, and geraniol, all of which work to tighten skin and improve complexion.

Frankincense Essential Oil

Frankincense essential oil is held in high regard, as it offers many benefits for overall health. The molecular structure helps it penetrate the deep layers of the skin, working to encourage the health of existing skin cells. By oxygenating these cells, frankincense helps to improve elasticity, which ultimately tightens the skin. Frankincense essential oil also helps to encourage the growth of new skin cells. It has been most effective around the eye area.

Neroli Essential Oil

The more common name of this oil is orange blossom essential oil. It’s a common ingredient in many fragrances or fragrance blends, as the aroma is inviting and floral. The anti-fungal and antimicrobial properties, along with the diverse antioxidant profile, makes neroli essential oil an excellent choice to tighten and firm up loose skin. According to several studies, it exhibits the most regenerative properties to make the skin supple and taught.

Geranium Essential Oil

Working to repair collagen and improve the skin’s elasticity, geranium essential oil is an excellent choice for skin tightening. By boosting elastin fibers, this essential oil can help reduce the appearance of wrinkles. In fact, many people use geranium essential oil to help get rid of stretch marks. It nourishes the skin and gives it a youthful glow, while making skin more taught in the process.

Jasmine Essential Oil

Jasmine essential oil helps to encourage blood circulation, which promotes the regeneration of skin cells. As new skin cells produce, the body can hydrate the skin and provide it with more elasticity. This process can reduce the appearance of wrinkles and scars by tightening the skin. Jasmine essential oil pairs best with sweet almond oil as a carrier oil.

Myrrh Essential Oil

Myrrh essential oil has historical and religious importance, being one of the gifts that the three wise men brought to the baby Jesus. Religious history aside, myrrh essential oil has proven to oxygenate skin tissues, which improves toughness. Many people incorporate myrrh oil into their skin care routine to moisturize and prevent skin from cracking. Lastly, this oil can help give the skin a more youthful glow, which makes the skin’s new flexibility look even better.

We see three things during the fall: changing leaves, colder weather, and the emergence of pumpkin spice everything. Fall may as well be called pumpkin spice season because people obsess about the beverages, desserts, and DIY beauty products that are made with pumpkin spice. You want to know something? We aren’t mad at that at all! In fact, we embrace the pumpkin spice!

The pumpkin spice sugar scrub in this article exfoliates and nourishes your skin. It’s the perfect way to pamper yourself and scrub away the inevitable holiday hustle and bustle. Everyone needs to practice self-care around the holiday season. People typically focus on putting others first or they worry about which family member to see during the holidays, and they often neglect themselves. They can suffer from acne, dry skin, or premature signs of aging as a result, but the ingredients in this scrub can help counteract all of that.

How Vitamin E Oil Benefits The Skin

Vitamin E oil acts as both an antioxidant and a nutrient that helps to rejuvenate the skin. According to dermatologists, vitamin E oil helps to increase the nutrient levels of skin tissues. This can help to reduce stretch marks or lighten scars or dark spots. People who are looking to combat premature signs of aging often turn to vitamin E oil because it has been known to reverse fine lines and wrinkles. Because of the inherent antioxidants, vitamin E oil fights the oxidative stress on the skin, which contribute to the development of those fine lines and wrinkles.

How Brown Sugar Benefits The Skin

When you include brown sugar in DIY skin care products, it’s always best to purchase organic brown sugar. The granulated particles of brown sugar help to exfoliate the skin, removing dry or dead skin cells and bacteria in the process. Brown sugar also contains antibacterial properties and glycolic acid, which helps to improve complexion and add moisture. Additionally, these antibacterial properties help to provide a protective barrier on the skin, which helps to keep out harmful toxins.

How Pumpkin Spice Benefits The Skin

Pumpkin spice enhances the flavor of your baked goods, but it also makes a name for itself in bath and body products. It’s a cosmetic spice blend of ginger, cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg, all of which help to reduce acne and provide increased circulation to the skin. Ginger, in particular, has powerful anti-aging properties and can help hydrate the skin, reducing any sort of dryness. Both cinnamon and clove help to soothe irritated skin and reduce inflammation. Clove also helps to kill bacteria and remove blackheads, while the nutmeg aids in gentle exfoliation and helps to lighten and tone.

DIY Pumpkin Spice Sugar Scrub

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup organic brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup virgin coconut oil, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon vitamin E oil
  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/2 teaspoon alcohol-free vanilla extract

Instructions:

  • Add all of the ingredients to a medium-sized mixing bowl and mix well to combine.
  • Spoon the mixture into a glass jar or airtight container and store in a cool, dry place. Use no more than once daily.
  • It’s best if you use this sugar scrub within two months.

Those frustrating scar-like lines around the hips, abdomen, upper arms, thighs, and lower back are stretch marks – and they are embarrassing! Formed in the dermis layer of the skin, stretch marks appear when the dermis is stretched for long periods of time, for example, during pregnancy or after severe weight gain or weight loss. Because the skin is stretched for a long time, it doesn’t return to its original state, resulting in unflattering stretch marks.

Roughly 90 percent of women who get pregnant develop stretch marks. They are almost inescapable because the fibers in the skin snap and break, causing the reddish, brown, or white “scars” in the areas where they appear.

The Good News

Most stretch marks will fade or reduce over time, but you can accelerate this process by topically applying the right ingredients. Lotions and magic potions can help to lubricate the skin, but rarely do they address stretch marks. You need ingredients that penetrate the dermis to nourish the skin from the inside. You can also do another crazy thing to help with stretch marks…

Eat To Get Rid Of Stretch Marks

Applying topical solutions to the skin can help get rid of stretch marks, but you need to address the problem from multiple angles. By focusing on real foods, you can help nourish the skin cells and increase collagen production. It is beneficial to consume nourishing fats (avocados, olive oil, coconut oil, and nuts and seeds), healthy plant-based proteins (legumes, leafy green vegetables, and whole grains), and complex carbohydrates (quinoa, organic berries, squash, and sweet potatoes). And although you may not want to hear this, it is wise to eliminate processed foods, refined sugars, refined carbs, and unhealthy fats if you want to effectively get rid of stretch marks.

The Key Ingredients

Coconut Oil

The skin easily absorbs coconut oil, allowing it to penetrate the skin on a deeper level; this is also attributed to coconut oil’s low molecular weight. The healthy fats in coconut oil can then bond with proteins in the skin and improve elasticity.

Shea Butter

Shea butter has been proven to assist with skin cell regeneration, which contributes to smoother skin. According to the American Journal of Life Sciences, a study of 30 volunteers, who used Shea butter on their skin on a daily basis, diminished premature signs of aging.

Homemade Stretch Mark Cream

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup raw cocoa butter
  • ¼ cup raw Shea butter
  • ¼ cup extra virgin coconut oil
  • 1 teaspoon vitamin E oil
  • 2 tablespoons rosehip seed oil
  • 2 tablespoons sweet almond oil
  • 20 drops geranium or lavender oil

Instructions:

  • Melt the cocoa butter, Shea butter, and coconut oil in a double boiler. Stir to combine them and them remove from heat.
  • Pour the mixture into a heat-safe glass container and mix in the remaining ingredients. Allow it to cool to room temperature.
  • You can place the mixture in the refrigerator (no more than an hour) to accelerate the cooling process. You want it to solidify but you don’t want it to firm up so much that you can’t mix it.
  • Remove the bowl from the fridge once it has slightly solidified and use a hand mixer or an immersion blender to whip it into a cream.
  • Spoon the cream into a glass container, seal tightly, and store in a cool dry place. Apply to stretch marks as needed.

Bees are incredible creatures, but bee populations have slowly dwindled in recent years. Now more than ever, it is important to support the products from beekeepers and their hives around the world. Sure, we can all purchase honey at farmer’s markets, but honey is far from the most beneficial substance that bees create. Beeswax deserves the same respect, if not more, that we give to honey because it helps the skin in so many ways. For instance, unlike petroleum jelly, beeswax doesn’t suffocate the skin; rather, it allows the skin to breathe while also providing a moisturizing protective barrier.

What Is Beeswax?

This healing substance comes from female honeybees and it is hard or breakable when cold, but soft when heated. It is a mixture of pollen, plant wax, and the secretion from the gland on the undersides of bees. Like honey, beeswax will vary in color depending on the flowers from which the honey is derived. Beeswax is commonly used to relieve swelling or skin irritation, but it also moisturizes, improves complexion, and relieves inflammation. How else can beeswax be used? Let’s explore the beauty benefits of beeswax below. How’s that for alliteration?!

Excellent Moisturizer

Beeswax is commonly found in cosmetic products because it has the ability to protect and repair dry or damaged skin. The rich vitamin A content and emollient properties help beeswax lock in the moisture and allow your skin to breathe simultaneously. The beauty of beeswax is that it doesn’t clog the pores and aids with healthy skin development at a cellular level.

Protect Against Environmental Damage

When you apply beeswax with some carrier oils like jojoba oil or coconut oil, it helps to establish a protective coating on the skin. The skin is constantly exposed to airborne toxins, be they from cigarette smoke, factory fumes, or car exhaust, and they can spawn damaging free radicals that contribute to premature signs of aging. Applying beeswax on the skin can help prevent this from happening and keep the skin looking young and supple.

Reduce Stretch Marks

Even though a high percentage of people have stretch marks, their appearance makes people uncomfortable and self-conscious. Because beeswax has the ability to protect the skin and help it retain water, it can have positive effects on getting rid of stretch marks. How does this work? According to a study that was conducted at Yonsei University College of Medicine in Korea, stretch marks are dermal atrophic scars caused by decreased collagen and skin elasticity. Since beeswax is rich in vitamin A, an antioxidant that boosts collagen production, it is beneficial for reducing stretch marks. Combine beeswax with coconut oil or cocoa butter and apply it to the stretch marks for best results.

Clears Up Acne

Due to the antiseptic, healing, anti-inflammatory properties, and high vitamin A content, beeswax is commonly used in home remedies to get rid of acne. In addition to fighting acne, beeswax contains emollient properties that contribute to a smoother complexion after acne elimination.

Soothes Eczema, Psoriasis, & Diaper Rash

It is almost inevitable for a baby to experience diaper rash at some point. The regenerative qualities and anti-inflammatory properties of beeswax work to not only decrease redness and irritation, but also to facilitate the healing process for reduced recovery time. People with psoriasis or eczema, or similar skin irritation or infection, can benefit from using beeswax to reduce inflammation and promote the growth of healthier skin cells.

Anyone who has had stretch marks knows that getting rid of them is no easy task. Even if you follow a plant-based diet and live a healthy life, stretch marks can be inevitable and a problem, particularly for women. Roughly 50-90% of women can easily develop stretch marks after pregnancy, occasionally causing some women to feel self-conscious. Are they impossible to get rid of, though?

Typically occurring near the hips, thighs, stomach, and breasts, stretch marks can be unforgiving and brutal. We understand that you may have read things that tell you to maintain hydration, diet, or to improve skin elasticity via dry-brushing to get rid of stretch marks. While these tips can help, they may not be as fast acting as you would like them to be.

What Causes Stretch Marks?

Stretch marks are caused by the stretching of the skin and an increase in cortisone in the body. Having too much cortisone, which is a hormone produced by the adrenal glands, can cause the skin to lose its elasticity. The stretch marks occur in the middle layer, dermis, of the skin. This happens when the connective tissue is stretched beyond its limits, due to rapid growth or weight gain.

Some people swear by stretch mark creams, but it is important to use the right one, so as not to worsen the stretch marks. You need a cream or salve with ingredients that help to moisten your skin and keep it hydrated. We recently stumbled on a recipe that is all natural and helps to hydrate your skin and, slowly but surely, help those stretch marks vanish.

Ingredients for Salve:

  • 1 cup raw cocoa butter
  • ½ cup virgin coconut oil
  • 1 cup castor oil
  • ¼ cup sweet almond oil

Instructions for Use:

  • Add the cocoa butter and coconut oil to a saucepan over medium heat. Once they are melted, stir in the castor and almond oils. Mix well and then remove from heat. Pour in an airtight container and chill in the refrigerator.
  • Once the mixture is cool, remove from the fridge and, using a hand mixer, whip until white peaks form. Store this in a glass jar in the fridge.
  • Massage a small amount on your stretch marks once a day.

Many women suffer from irritation and/or pain in their breasts and do not address the issue. However, it is vital for any women that experiences pain or irittation in their breasts to take further notice, as you may have toxic breasts. The location of your breasts near the lymphatic system make your breasts more susceptible to adverse reactions. The area above and between your breasts is inundated with oild glands, making that area vulnerable to bacteria accumulation. Also, your underarms, which are adjacent to the breasts, have lymph nodes that excrete toxins in response to perspiration. However, many females use harmful anti-perspirants that are laced with unhealthy chemicals. These chemicals not only inhibit toxins from exiting the body via perspiration, but also can cause skin irritation, inflammation of the lymph nodes, and potentially increase your risk of acquiring cancer.

Bras should also be of your concern. Bras (especially wire-strapped bras) reduce circulation in the chest and shoulder area because they make an indentation in the skin (which means they are too tight). With poor circulation, toxins are unable to excrete themselves of the chest/breast area to the major eliminative channels (the colon and kidneys). As a result, your chest/breast area accumulates unwanted toxins that may cause further damage. Purse straps and tight clothing also can restrict circulation in that region, which may negatively affect your lymphatic flow in that region.

Symptoms of Toxic Breasts

Breast cysts or tumors are a symptom of toxic breasts. Other symptoms of toxic breasts include:

  • Breast Pain
  • Hardening of the Breasts
  • Mastitis (inflammation of the mammary glands)
  • Inflammation of Lymph Nodes
  • Skin Irritation

Toxic Breast Prevention

Women that are experiencing any of the aforementioned symptoms of toxic breasts should address it immediately. Taking an all-natural, holistic approach to healing your breasts naturally can provide both psychological and physical benefits. Women can help restore their bodies to optimal health and consequently reduce the risk of acquiring breast-related diseases and conditions with a variety of methods. First, maintaining healthy weight by consuming a diet rich in nutrient-dense fresh fruits and vegetables is important; the fiber, vitamins, and minerals found in cruciferous vegetables can help curtail any weight fluctuation. Maintaining a regular exercise program can also help you maintain a healthy weight; moderate exercise for at least 30 minutes per day can increase your metabolism, burn fat, move lymph fluid, increase oxygenation, as well as regulate your insulin and hormone production. Reducing your alcohol intake is also ha significant value in reducing your risk of breast-related diseases. Excessive consumption of alchol impairs your liver’s ability to metabolize the estrogen hormone. Stretch marks are lines on the skin that are caused by the stretching and weakening of elastic tissues as a result of rapid weight gain, muscle building and in many cases, pregnancy.

Stretch marks are generally found on the thighs, breasts, stomach, buttocks, and upper arm. These areas of the body are usually areas of higher fat content than some other areas of the body.

Stretch marks can be barely noticeable or easily seen. The marks are usually reddish or purple in color. While there is no way to completely erase these marks, there are solutions to improve their appearance.

Causes of Stretch Marks

There are many causes of stretch marks. As discussed earlier, some causes include:

  • Pregnancy
  • Weight gain
  • Puberty
  • Muscle gain

Pregnancy is an obvious cause of stretch marks. The body changes rapidly and skin is stretched to the maximum. The stomach faces the highest occurrence of stretch marks in this case.

Gaining weight quickly can be another culprit. Just like with pregnancy, when the skin must stretch past its normal limit the epidermis can experience microscopic tearing. This tearing is what creates the stretch marks. Yo yo dieting is a large reason for stretch marks. When the body gain and loses quickly, our skin begins to lose the ability to snap back. Elasticity is lost and the skin will never be the same.

Puberty is a time of life when the body changes dramatically. Puberty can produce stretch marks just like weight gain. Our bodies are being stretched and pulled into their adult form and the result is stretched skin.

Any quick gain of fat or muscle can easily result in stretch marks. While the marks are not dangerous, they can be unsightly and annoying. However, there are ways to help with this common problem.

Natural Solutions

Preventing stretch marks is a sure way to never have to deal with them. In order to keep stretch marks at bay, we must keep the skin elastic. By conditioning the body with various moisturizers, we can help to lessen stretch marks. Some moisturizers to try on your body, whether your are pregnant or just trying to reduce your chances of getting these marks, include:

Massage these into the skin daily for best results.

Also, keep in mind how your diet plays into stretch marks. Diet can either help or hinder every function in our lives. By maintaining a healthy diet rich in fresh and natural foods, your body can keep a healthy weight. Avoid extreme weight fluctuations as they are bad for stretch marks and bad for your health.
