Many spiritual leaders today espouse that there are no accidents. Yet if that is true, why do people loosely use the word “accident” all the time?

Dherbs agrees that there are absolutely no accidents in life. Absolutely none.

What we call “accidents” is the Law of Synchronicity manifesting itself. Unconscious people call it a “crash.” The 2005 Best Picture movie “Crash” displayed how our lives are connected regardless of societal stature, race, creed, belief system, economic status, etc. and because we are all connected, from time to time we are sure to “bump” or “crash” into one another, especially in the proper time-space sequence. That’s the Law of Synchronicity working.

Now, if there are no accidents, then what are people experiencing with car accidents, accidents on the job, or bodily accidents (i.e. urinating or defecating on one’s self)?

A car accident is a collision: two cars crash or collide into one another on the street or highway. This is synchronicity in a way least expected, at least by the participants. Accidents happen for a reason. There is a lesson to be learned in every occurrence of life, including accidents. As metaphysician Lise Bourbeau states:

“Accidents are tools the Universe (God) uses to get our attention.”

Many times, accidents help to slow us down or to give us a much needed rest or break period. Believe it or not we play a role in every accident we experience. The Law of Attraction is always in effect.

When you have fear, especially about a particular thing, person, or event, the subconscious mind processes what is in the conscious mind and makes it manifest. This is a natural law.

Accidents can teach you to:

1. Always listen to and more importantly, TRUST yourself (emotions, gut feeling, intuition)

2. Your thoughts create your reality.

3. You attract what you resist or fear in life.

Some people believe that preparing for an accident (such as purchasing insurance) creates an accident. It is the preparation for an accident that creates the accident. When you prepare for a thing, you are saying you EXPECT the thing. Constant expectation becomes unconscious desire. That’s why despite all the car or automobile insurance in the world, accidents (collisions) keep occurring and increasing and will continue to do so. The more insurance there is, the more accidents there will be. There’s an unconscious desire (expectation) for accidents in the collective consciousness of the people and so they happen.

Insurance is not for prevention purposes. It’s for preparation purposes and creates a false sense of security.

Some people can have insurance for a whole lifetime and never have to use the insurance. Why? They live life with a peaceful and trusting disposition and a positive outlook. Their energy is good and very trusting of good to come their way. If you travel with peace and security, you will be more likely to arrive safely at your destination. People who expect doom always get it. You attract and usually get what you fear or don’t want.

If you are preparing for some future catastrophe, you are sure to get it in your lifetime. Preparation of a thing or event eventually makes it transpire.

Fear is energy (a cause) and breeds a polarity energy (an effect).

We truly can change the condition of the world simply by just changing our thoughts and feelings.

One concept that can be hard for people to accept is that it is impossible to have control over every aspect of one’s life. Even if the person has complete self-control, the outside world is completely random. Events happen which we have no control over. Sometimes tragedy strikes in unusual and unforeseeable ways.

Whether it is a natural disaster such as a fire or flood, human-created tragedy such as a robbery or burglary, or some other issue such as illness and injury, life will almost inevitably bring you hardship at some point. Such things cannot necessarily be planned for or prevented. People must deal with them in the best way that they can.

In the midst of a terrible life crisis, attitude is more important than ever. It is easy to passively sit back and bemoan your terrible luck. There will always be people who are content to merely complain about their changed circumstances, rather than trying to better or amend them. Yet such people are only hurting themselves by lingering in and dwelling on negativity. Such behavior is neither healthy nor conducive towards remedying the situation.

Sometimes people who have experienced extreme acts of violence such as abuse or rape take a long time to recover. That is completely normal! There are medical services such as counseling and therapy that are available for you to talk about your experiences and share your feelings. People have been specially trained in how to best help you to feel better and recover. There is certainly no shame in either going to a therapist or having the terrible event happen to you in the first place. The most important thing to remember is that you are not to blame! You are not responsible for making other people commit crimes. Seeking out professional help is the best way to achieve the right outlook and attitude.

Try to understand that even though you may have been the victim of a terrible crime, you are not going to be a victim for long! With the right counseling and professional care, you will emerge stronger than you thought possible. You get to make the choice in how you deal with challenges and/or tragedy. The right attitude can take you miles towards recovery.

Change Your Thinking

Instead of thinking of yourself as a victim, think of all the ways that you can show the world how strong you are! If you are feeling physically weak, check out different classes available around your community. After taking a kickboxing class at your local gym, you may feel stronger and empowered. Some community centers may offer self-defense classes, while many colleges also offer such classes for free or at discounted rates. There are many different types of martial arts classes taught in the States. Some types are geared specifically to with smaller body sizes, so that petite women can learn how to use their larger opponent’s strength against them.

Do not give up! The road to recovery can be long and painful. Sometimes simply getting out of bed can seem impossible. But remember that each marathon must begin with a single step. Everyone must start somewhere, and no beginning is too small.

The choice is yours, to be made today and now. After coming to terms with what happened to you, you must decide what kind of attitude you will embrace and project for the future. You can either see yourself as a victim or a victor. It is entirely up to you, and no person can make the decision for you. The person that knows that there are valuable lessons to be learned from every situation, event, and circumstance in life, be it good or bad, positive or negative, is a victor. Victors endure trials and suffer setbacks, but they emerge stronger for having experienced them.

Choose not to lose in the game of life! Be a victor in the Game. Choose victory! You have the freedom to do so! Remember that you are not responsible for whatever happened, and you should never blame yourself. But you are responsible for how you choose to respond. Seek professional counseling services. Get the help you need. Take all the time you need to make a recovery. Everyone is different, and some people will heal faster than others. Go at your own pace, and refuse to be pressured by others. Once you’re done, you will emerge stronger as a result.

Stay Positive

Advocates of the law of attraction believe that you attract the kinds of things and feelings that you emit. So if you are broadcasting negativity and thoughts of victimization, people will most likely consider you as such. Conversely, if you try to maintain a positive attitude and think about the good parts of each day, you are more likely to attract beneficial outcomes and have people think positively about you.

Reaching out to other people can also lessen feelings of victimhood. There are many different kinds of support groups available. Some support groups are for general purposes, others are focused to people who have suffered from rape, disease, divorce, etc. Talking things over in a supportive environment with people who know exactly what you are going through can help immensely.

The greatest strength is found from within. So get out there and show the world how strong you can truly be!

Thinking or how you think is very important in healing. In fact, you thought yourself into sickness, infirmity, ailment, injury and disease. Your thinking is what started your sickness or disease. As all comes from thought, so does sickness and disease. Most people don’t have a clue of this, but they thought themselves into their present state, whatever that state may be.

First, you think yourself sick; then you speak yourself sick. Take fear for example. It is very true that “what you fear will appear.” When you fear a thing, you attract the thing you fear via the Law of Attraction (LOA). Many people out there fear contracting genital herpes or some other STD. This fear is embedded deep into the subconscious mind. It matches what’s on the conscious mind. The subconscious mind is what manifests what’s on the conscious mind. The people who consciously fear contracting genital herpes or some other STD attract the very same thing they fear or do not want and they do so via ignorance of Higher Law or Universal Law.

This is why it pays to only think positive, especially when the thought of a thing is recurrent or consistent because consistent thoughts magnifies the thought and brings the thought ultimately into physical manifestation.

If you keep having thoughts of contracting some new virus, you’ll eventually “catch” that virus. Basically, your body will give you the new virus by developing the new virus. Your body can develop poison or it can develop a nepenthe, panacea, or antidote. Your body (it’s endocrine system) is a laboratory. It is alchemical, mystical, and magical.

You must watch your thoughts and you most certainly must watch your words. Again, people are speaking themselves into sickness. Saying things like: ‘I can’t stand you!’, ‘You get on my damn nerves!’, ‘You make me sick!’; ‘You make my stomach turn!’, or “you’re a pain in my neck!’ actually causes your body to respond to these statements (words) and eventually manifest such statements (words) in your physical body and in the precise or specific geographical areas of your body. Your body responds to everything you say, positive or negative. The impact of words, be they positive or negative, are stored in your tissues throughout your body.

This is why in order to heal you must positively change your thoughts and thinking, which should change how you speak.

Positive Attitudes for Preventing Disease

First of all, you must make the choice to be healthy. Obesity, Type 2 diabetes, and other controllable diseases have been exponentially growing in this country over the past 50 years. Fast food is cheap and easy to obtain. Spending hours in front of a television (or parking your children in front of one) provides easy entertainment that requires little to no thinking on your part.

The fact that you’re here reading this article means that you care about your personal health, which is a huge first step. Give yourself a pat on the back for taking the initiative!

Next, you have to spend some time thinking about what ways you can improve your health. If you are worried about gaining weight, keep track of the quantity and quality of what you eat, and the frequency of your exercising. Many people actually lost weight after keeping a food journal for a few weeks because they were unaware of how frequently they’d been casually snacking. Try to find ways to increase the amount of exercise you get on a daily basis. Join a gym, go for a walk during your lunch break, or bike to work. Even small exercise additions to your daily routine can make a difference.

Try to get other people involved in your quest for health. Having the support of family and friends can make a big difference. Talk to your coworkers and see if any of them are interested in playing basketball after work one day a week. If you enjoy solitary pursuits, start a garden in your backyard. Digging holes and pulling up weeds is a good workout for your arms. Or go for a long walk while listening to music or a book on cd. You’ll be so caught up in the story you won’t realize how far you’ve walked. If you live near the ocean, consider learning how to surf. Or if you live by the mountains, go for hikes on the weekend.

There are plenty of exercise opportunities available for you to take advantage of. The hardest part is finding the time and energy. Yet once you adopt a positive attitude and embrace your pursuit of health, you’ll find that exercise can be a fun way to let off some steam. And once you get into a schedule, you’ll find that regular workouts leave you rejuvenated and energized instead of tired and lethargic.

Because we live in a fear-driven society it is very common for people to link spiritual, celestial, cosmic, and astrological occurrences to something bad or evil.

In the years leading up to 2000, the media presented New Year’s as a doomsday scenario-the emphasis was on all of the negative things that would alter life as we knew it. Rumors circulated that all computers were supposed to shut down due to a glitch that was not seen when computers were first manufactured. Elevators were supposed to shut down at 12 on the dot on January 1, 2000, trapping all people in elevators all over the world. Banks were supposed to shut down. But we all know how that turned out.

The net effect was people stacking up on goods such as bottled water, canned food, candles, batteries, and more in preparation for pending disaster. They also bought Y2K survival manuals in an effort to make life more comfortable.

The result: nothing happened.

Doomsday events are not going to happen to folks who don’t buy into them. Doomsdays will eventually only happen to people who believe in them, who give their energy to them and who invest into them with their mind and money. They will not be events prophesized about in advance but instead will occur when least expected and be the result of a consistent fear-based thought process.

There is no advantage to believing in doomsday scenarios.

It only works on people who operate under poverty consciousness, pessimism, and negative thinking. The Law of Attraction is always at work in this Universe. Your thoughts create your reality and you attract what you emit via vibration.

When you hear about people at the wrong place at the wrong time that’s Law of Attraction and/or karmic fulfillment finally manifesting. There is never a wrong place and wrong time. There are no accidents; therefore it’s always a case of being where you are supposed to be to allow karma to take place.

You are always at where you are supposed to be-to experience and to gain lessons. There are no mistakes on the higher level of existence. None.

Y2K was a major fraud that worked on many people because of where they were in their state or level of consciousness. It’s all a game, people, and you must learn to play it and be successful. You don’t want to resist the game because what you resist persists according to law.

The Year 2012

The Mayan calendar predicted the end of the world on December 21, 2012. Why? Because that’s the last day on the Mayan calendar…EVER.

2012 is not the end of the world. The Earth as a planet will never end. It was not made to end. It will mark a new consciousness on the planet. Sciences such as astrology and numerology help us to understand 2012 in a more positive light and thus can prepare us for what to expect so we can take advantage of the changes coming to the planet that will impact all aspects of life.

The Numerology of 2012

With the science of numerology when we do the math for the Universal year pertaining to 2012 we get the number 5 for 2012 = 2+0+1+2 = 5 and the keywords for the number are:

  • Uncertainty
  • Realignment
  • Flux, and
  • Change

The year 2012 will cause great uncertainty for many people. It will be a time of realignment for the planet as well as many individuals. It will be a time of flux for the planet as well as individuals. And it will certainly mark the time of change for the planet as well as people.

The Actor for the number 5 in numerology is The Student and this means that we will have to present ourselves as students in a certain respect to learn new things and to relearn the old things our ancestors knew and lived by.

2012 will mark the end of an age, and nothing more.

There is nothing to fear about 2012. You don’t need to store up bottled water, canned food, protein bars, and other things associated with natural disasters. All you have to do is go within self and deal with yourself, your many polarities. The 2012 phenomena will be totally spiritual in nature and you will see this manifest physically in the changes in people, governments, nations, and other things.

Remember to think positive. Welcome the new shift with open arms and more importantly, with an open mind.

Quite simply, you have the power to be anything you want to be. Anything! Do not listen to anyone who tells you anything else. At the moment of birth, every single avenue of life is open to you. No path has been predetermined – you can just as easily become an astronaut, a world-famous chef, or an English professor. The wonderful and scary part of life is that you get to make the call.

As you get older, certain fields or opportunities may attract you more than others. Your focus in life may start to narrow or change, and that is perfectly normal. Many childhood dreams of becoming a firefighter or police officer may be redirected into different career paths. As people grow and develop, they learn more about what they want to do and their long-term interests. So in general, changing your career focus is beneficial because it usually comes out of greater self-knowledge. The most important thing to do is to pursue something that makes you happy. As long as you have that down, the specifics about your job situation do not matter.

With each new opportunity, you learn more about yourself and your interests. And what would life be without opportunity? Opportunities allow you to grow and blossom as a person. It is a positive feedback loop – taking advantage of new opportunities gives rise to new possibilities, which eventually open up new opportunities.

In America, your class, age, gender, religious and/or political persuasion, race or ethnicity, and sexual orientation do not matter. You can be whoever you want to be! There is an infinite range of possibilities open to you. With the right attitude, any obstacle can be surmounted. So if you want to do or be something, go for it! You’ll never know unless you try. And if you don’t at least try, the regret could haunt you for years to come.

Once you’ve made up your mind, write down or mentally establish your goals, both long-term and short-term. Work on your attitude until you are as focused, disciplined, committed, dedicated, and hard-working as possible. With such an attitude and work ethic, it is surely only a matter of time before you attain your goal and become whatever you desire to become. You are the one in charge, and you get to decide what you want to have happen! You are the only one who makes the call.

Nothing will be able to get in your way unless you allow things to get in your way. We must remember that there are no limitations in life except for the ones we make for ourselves. Try not to accept limits for yourself. You are capable of so much, and do not let anyone tell you otherwise.

Brace yourself, for the road ahead will not always be easy. The things in life worth having never are. Instead of worrying about the possible difficulties lying ahead, try to remember that these bumps in the road are nothing but challenges that will serve to help you achieve your outcome and goal. Many challenges are actually opportunities in disguise. They test the strength of your convictions and reveal your true character.

With the right mindset, every knock on your journey is actually a boost. Everything that happens on your path through life happens for your benefit. You choose how you view situations and what kinds of benefits you accrue from both challenges and opportunities. Remember that both possibility and impossibility are labels that you attach to situations.

The horizon of impossibility is constantly shifting. One hundred years ago, no one could have imagined that people would be able to explore space or use technology to communicate with people from around the world. Who knows what miraculous inventions will seem commonplace a hundred years from now? There is no “possible” or “impossible” label that can be objectively attached to an idea or action; you determine if a thing for you is possible or impossible. You must make conscious choices and learn the power of belief.

If you can conceive of something and believe in it, then you can achieve it. It is that simple. Your belief and self-confidence can work wonders. You can even be an inspiration for others to follow and believe in!

Only your belief matters at the end of the day. If others undercut your beliefs and dreams, pay them no heed. You do not need naysayers. Trust in yourself and the power of your convictions. Others will respect the strength of your beliefs and may even come to sympathize with them.

The secret to having others to believe in you and your dreams is for you to believe in your dreams and goals in life. People simply give you back what you project outwardly. When you believe in yourself, others too will believe in you in accordance to the law of attraction.

So, make up your mind to become what you desire to become, whatever it may be. Love is a requirement or prerequisite for healing. Forgiveness and love go hand-in-hand. Many people get and remain sick because they refuse to forgive other people and to give love to self and others.

At Dherbs.com, we believe all disease can be naturally healed. With God (or the higher power of your beliefs), all things are possible. Although it may not always be easy or obvious to find/understand, God has provided a solution to every problem.

You will not heal if you don’t forgive. You can’t heal if you don’t love, especially if you don’t love yourself.

Many people have difficulty in healing even with the use of herbs and natural modalities and the reasons are because they have blocked their minds and hearts. They have failed to learn the lesson the disease has brought and is conveying; they have failed to release all negative energy from them; they still have fear, especially fear of not being able to heal; and lastly, they focus on the wrong things-they focus on what they “don’t” want rather than focus on what they “do” want.

Instead of wanting healing or optimal health and wellbeing, they simply want to not have the problem any more. The word “not” is negative and therefore not processed by the Universe, so in essence, the Universe only hears the negative and it gives the person more of what they really don’t want.

  • Filtering what you hear from others
  • Magnifying risks, drawbacks and failures
  • Expecting the worst
  • Believing there is no “gray” area.

You attract what you give, think and believe. If you want health, then you have to believe it’s possible, and live your life in love, offer forgiveness and focus on positive outcomes. The Law of Attraction is always at work in your life.

Fear is an unpleasant emotion caused by the belief that someone or something is dangerous, likely to cause pain, or a threat.

Whether it’s a fear of spiders, airplanes, or public speaking, everyone has suffered from fear at one point or another. Clammy hands, quickened breathing-we all know the signs. What is less well known, however, is how to vanquish fear.

Conquering Your Fears

The best way to conquer your fears is to first accept them.

As with any shortcoming, acceptance goes a long way towards recovery. Yet there is a distinction between acceptance and complacence. Do not resign yourself to fear. On the contrary, challenge yourself to face it down!

Once you walk in the direction of your fear and acquaint yourself with your terrors, they begin to dissolve. All illusions dissolve or wear off eventually; fear is nothing but an illusion. Even though fear is an illusion, it is dangerously powerful. It may appear real from a distance, yet it is only real when you make up your mind to believe in it.

When you challenge your fears by facing them, you gain knowledge of the fear and can view it in a rational and objective manner. It is very human to be afraid or fearful at times, but fear should never last long. Fear should never consume us.

Look at Fear Differently

Yet as terrible as fear is to experience, perhaps we need to change our perspective of it. Instead of viewing it as a problem and a vice, imagine it as a seed or nut that can be cracked open, manifesting many sought after answers to life’s many puzzling questions.

In every problem lies the answer to solve the problem.

When looked at from this angle, we are given problems throughout life so as to be given answers throughout life. Receiving and applying (or living) the answers we seek help us to grow and evolve mentally, emotionally, spiritually and on so many other planes and levels.

From this wise perspective, fear is an ally and not an enemy. If we see problems and challenges as things that help us, problems and challenges are beneficial. Fear should be no different. If we see fear as something that can help us, fear is beneficial.

Now on the other hand, if we see fear as something bad, dreadful, or negative, then we shape our perspective of fear and will only reap negative results from fear pursuant to the Law of Attraction. Undoubtedly, you will attract what you fear.

The thing you fear will always come upon you if you get stuck or trapped in your fear pursuant to repetitious thought.

There is only one thing that causes fear to dissolve and that is doing the thing you fear; in other words, walking in the direction of your fear to face it head on. And let me tell you, some find it easier to face their fears after putting knowledge and faith in a higher power such as religion or some form of spiritual guidance.

When you know and believe you are truly protected by this higher power from all harm in this world of man, it’s not so unpleasant to face your fear.

Faith Trumps Fear

Facing and overcoming fear can actually strengthen your faith.

Overcoming fear as well as other challenges in life causes your faith (in God, Universe, Higher Self, etc.) to blossom and strengthen. Whatever we go through in life, God, Higher Power, or Universe (or whatever else we may choose to call it) is always there with and for us, so really, what’s to fear?

The stronger the faith and trust in what we believe (e.g. Higher Power), the less powerful and less lived the fear (or problem or challenge) will be.

You never have to fear the outcome of anything if you shape the outcome in advance. It is said that the best way to predict the future is to create it. The same thing should apply to outcomes – the best way to predict an outcome is to shape it or create it yourself.

Believe in yourself. Think positively and feel confident. You are the only one who can free yourself from fear. Set small goals and take baby steps, if necessary. And imagine how liberating it will feel to know that you have conquered a formerly crippling fear and can finally experience true freedom. Even if you lose your confidence the first few attempts, keep trying. Every marathon begins with the first few steps.

We all know the kinds of people who make each day a chore that must be endured. Whether out of laziness or indifference, they go through life passively accepting whatever lies before them. They make no effort to change or grow. For them, the act of living itself is challenge enough, and it seems to have conquered them.

That is a perfect example of the wrong kind of living. Do not view life as a challenge. It is a gift, more precious than any you could purchase in a store or online. Life simply gives us back what we project out into it. It is the natural law of attraction.

Do your best to really live each day. Take the time to smell the flowers on your way to work. Appreciate the sights, smells, and tastes of your surroundings. Indulge your curiosity. If there is a store you’ve always passed by and been curious about, take a few minutes to stop inside. If there are organizations or teams within your community that you’ve wanted to join, do it! There is no time better than the present.

Reach out to others. Make new friends and deepen the relationships that you already have. If there is a cute neighbor whom you’ve always wanted to get to know, invite him or her over! Or even host a neighborhood block party. It is far too common now for people to not know or care about their neighbors. Yet widening your circle of friends and acquaintances can never be a bad thing.

Make sure to save time and energy to do the things that really matter to you. Try to balance your work and personal life. Don’t focus so much on the future, and make sure to be enjoying each moment now in the present.

If you have a family, save time each day to spend with your partner and children. It is true, they really do grow up faster than you’d think possible. Your work will keep, but your children are constantly changing and growing. Be the person who they look up to and want to emulate. As much as possible, try to maintain an open and nonjudgmental line of communication. As your children get older they will experience situations of which they are unsure and want advice. Be the person they want to come to.

Although it is important to make allowances for the future and have financial contingency plans in place, don’t let yourself put off your hopes and ambitions on to some future date. The time to realize your dreams is now!

Choose to make something of your life. The “what” and “the how” do not matter, as long as it makes you happy. Even if your desires are unconventional, go for them! Other people’s opinions do not matter. If you spend your life caring too much about what other people think, you will sacrifice your happiness to social pressure. Have the courage and faith to make the leap, and pursue your dreams.

What gives power to a human being? Is it the money, status, bank balance, position or fame? Well actually none of these. These things may give an illusion of power temporarily, but in reality it takes away our power as we become addicted to it.

The actual power of our soul lies in the forgiveness that comes out of genuine feelings. One may say it is easier said than done. Well, it is true to some extent. It requires lots of guts and inner strength to forgive others.

But do we have any other option? No, our soul wants to be empowered by freeing itself of all the negativity. When we free ourselves from all the resentments, hatred, guilt, and regret; which in turn is possible only when we forgive (whether that be ourselves or someone else). By sending this positive energy that “I forgive myself and forgive all others” to our mind, body and soul, we free ourselves from the cause and effect of karmas. Our body also starts removing the toxins which were created as a result of negative emotions.

When we experience the feeling of forgiveness inside, we become receptive to creating miracles in our lives. This is done because when we free others or ourselves, and learn the lesson from the situation or the person, then we become ready to move on in life, and universe either changes that situation or gives us new opportunity to work with. We become a magnet for attracting all positive situations.

The law of attraction then applies: you will attract according to the vibes you send to the universe. If the vibes are positive then positive people and positive situations are attracted, and vice versa. Forgiveness removes all the negativity and fills us with peace, happiness, content, and harmony. These positive vibes that our soul experiences now attract positive experiences, instead of negative ones.

But we have to forgive, in order to experience it. Start forgiving everyone including yourself, genuinely, with the understanding that everyone is a part of bigger plan and have come to earth just to gain experience (either good or bad). See through their souls shining brightly and in the process of evolving. Free yourself, by freeing your mind, body and soul from the negative effects of the fear, hurt, anger, and guilt.
