Oh my goodness! Is this about to be the best vegan treat of the holidays? Good tidings and even better flavors we bring to you and your kin. We wish you a happy holidays and an even happier eating experience. This vegan eggnog chia pudding recipe is not only delectable, but also creamy and filled with holiday spices. Unlike traditional eggnog recipes, this one is free of added sugars, preservatives, dairy, and unhealthy fats. It is also alcohol-free!

Sweets are all the rage during the holiday season. Would Christmas be what it is without a cup of hot cocoa and some cookies, or a glass of eggnog? Yes, of course it would! Don’t fall into that classic holiday mentality of “well, I only eat this during this time of year, so it is perfectly acceptable to have it whenever I want it.” Because people love their holiday treats, though, we decided to create one of our own. You can enjoy it for breakfast or eat it as a dessert. There is no wrong way to eat this eggnog chia pudding.

Because eggnog is very creamy and beautifully spiced, it lends itself to chia pudding. The hints of nutmeg and cinnamon almost give this chia pudding a flavor that is reminiscent to a classic rice pudding. Once the chia pudding sets, feel free to top it with your desired toppings. Sprinkle a little cinnamon on top, add some diced apples or sliced bananas, or drizzle some nut butter on top. Need a little crunch to this recipe? Add some slivered almonds or pumpkin seeds! Lastly, this recipe will keep fresh in an airtight jar or container in the fridge for up to five days, so you don’t have to enjoy it immediately when it is ready.

Imagine a cute little jar layered with creamy goodness and vibrant colors. Well, you just clicked on that recipe! This mango papaya chia pudding is slightly different than the standard chia pudding recipe we usually post. This culinary creation is a tropical treat that is perfect in the middle of fall! It has a layer of creamy mango and papaya for the base with classic chia pudding on top. It’s almost like a chia pudding parfait! You can layer that mango papaya mixture several times between the chia pudding if you want to create a uniquely textural and more visually stunning dish.

The unique thing about chia seeds is that they turn into gelatinous pearls when you soak them in liquid, be it almond milk, water, cashew milk, or coconut milk. Seeds plus liquid somehow equals something similar to tapioca? Yes, yes indeed! Chia seeds are also nutritional powerhouses, replete with omega-3 fatty acids, fiber, protein, and more. Omega-3s are great for heart and brain function, while fiber aids digestive health.

Not only is mango sweet, juicy, and downright irresistible, but it is also loaded with vitamin C, making it a fabulous immune booster Mangos also contain a wide variety of antioxidant compounds, which work to fight off pesky free radicals that contribute to oxidative stress. Finally, you have papaya, which offers a smooth texture and subtle sweetness. This fruit is a digestion hero because it contains papain, an enzyme that works to break down protein. Papaya also contains substances that may accelerate the healing of infections and small wounds.

Chia pudding is always a hit during your cleansing experience. It’s a highly enjoyable breakfast item that gives you some reprieve from smoothies. Just to be clear, this is not a smoothie-bashing post. We love smoothies and they are an excellent way to consume a lot of nutrients in one fell swoop. Chia pudding is another great way to consume a lot of nutrients in one meal. It’s also an excellent meal option to fill up on the cleanse, especially for breakfast because it contains a lot of fiber, protein, and healthy fats.

Anyone can make chia pudding, but we decided to elevate this recipe with some juicy summer peaches. We went with white peaches, which have a more delicate, floral sweetness than intense yellow peaches. These peaches bruise more easily, so be careful when handling them. Some people appreciate white peaches more than the yellow varieties because they aren’t tart. Instead, they are more aromatic and lightly sweet, which makes them great to include in chia pudding. In fact, the extra kiss of sweetness from the maple syrup helps balance this breakfast dish.

Chia pudding is a great option if you want to meal prep your breakfast. You can make a larger batch, but you may want to freeze the jars if you are making enough for a week. The reason for this is that chia pudding will only last two to three days tops in the fridge. So if you want to have two to three days of the same breakfast, this recipe will can get you there. Good luck and let us know how you like it in the comments.

Let’s talk about the delicious taste of this chia pudding, which is like enjoying a slice of homemade pie, but in a jar. The difference is that, unlike traditional pecan pie, this chia pudding does not contain excess sugars and fats. It won’t leave you feeling bloated or terrible about yourself after finishing a serving. In fact, the chia seeds will help replenish your energy stores, aid your fiber intake efforts, and help regulate blood sugar levels. How about that?

The raw vegan pecan pie chia pudding we are talking about is a creamy, rich, and indulgent breakfast, dessert, or filling snack. Made with chia seeds soaked in homemade almond milk, this is a simple chia pudding topping with a candied pecan topping. The chia mixture thickens overnight in the fridge, thickening into a pudding-like texture. This happens because the chia seeds absorb the liquid and create a gel-like texture, which is very similar to tapioca.

When you take a bite of this pecan pie chia pudding, you’ll taste that signature sweet and nutty flavor of pecan pie. The maple syrup provides a hint of warmth and depth, but you get a little spicy kick from the cinnamon. The flavor is reminiscent of a traditional pecan pie, but without the added sugar and processed or refined ingredients. This raw vegan version is lighter, fresher, and more nutritious, making it an ideal dessert option if you want a healthier indulgence.

Chia pudding is an excellent breakfast, nutritious snack, or healthy sweet treat. Even though people commonly enjoy chia pudding as a breakfast, it often feels like a sweet indulgence. There is no shortage of chia pudding recipes on our website, some of which are quite unique. You can really make it your own and get creative with what you include. You can go the plain route, adding just a hint of sweetness, or you can blend different fruits into the mix.

Summer is the season of cherries, and they’ve started showing up in grocery stores. Although you can purchase Rainier cherries or sour cherries, the best variety for this recipe are the classic, dark red sweet cherries. They are both sweet and tart, so you don’t have to worry about an overly sweet pudding. If you are worried about sweetness and prefer things on the tarter side, start with less maple syrup and increase as needed. You don’t have to include any maple syrup if you feel that the cherries will provide enough sweetness on their own.

Although this recipe calls for homemade almond milk, you can use any homemade nut or seed milk that you make from scratch. That said, you can use other store bought non-dairy milks if you are not cleansing. Finally, if you are one of those people who despises coconut, you do not have to include it in this recipe.

In the dessert world, is there a more classic combination than lemon and poppy seed? Vanilla and chocolate may take the majority vote, but lemon and poppy seed is truly a great combination. Regarding this chia pudding, it is packed with incredible lemony flavor, poppy seeds, protein, healthy fats, and natural sugars. You can whip up this recipe in 15 minutes or less, place it in the fridge to set overnight, and then pull it out in the morning to enjoy as a healthy, filling breakfast.

The great thing about this chia pudding is that it only requires six ingredients. Chia seeds are the star of the show, and rightly so! They help to optimize digestive function and supply the body with a lot of omega-3 fatty acids, which benefit heart and brain health. The unique combination of healthy fats, fiber, and proteins in chia seeds makes them great to include in your breakfast because they help you satiate you. That means that enjoying chia pudding in the morning can help keep you full until lunch.

Although this recipes calls for homemade almond milk, you have the freedom to use the homemade nut or seed milk that you prefer. Homemade cashew milk, walnut milk, or even hemp seed milk can contribute to a creamy texture. If you want to go the full vegan route and abandon raw vegan (not endorsing this for cleansers), you can use oat milk or other store bought non-dairy milk. We would not use coconut milk, though.
