]]>

There is a time and place for medication. Some people require them to ease their health issues, but too many medications come with a long list of side effects. One of the most common side effects is heartburn because certain medications irritate the lining of the esophagus, the tube that connects the mouth to the stomach. That can cause heartburn pain that is similar to the pain of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD).

Although some medications cause heartburn or make it worse, others can actually relieve heartburn. Typically, the ones that cause heartburn include iron or potassium supplements, antibiotics, and tricyclic antidepressants. Want to know if a medication you take is responsible for the heartburn you experience? Read on to learn which medications cause heartburn.

Aspirin

Whether you take it to ease your headaches or reduce the risk of heart attack, aspirin increases heartburn in those who already have it. The reason for this is because aspirin promotes more acid production in the stomach. Aspirin prevents the body from forming protecting prostaglandins in the digestive tract. The body makes prostaglandins, which act like hormones, and the ones in the stomach prevent cells in the stomach wall from producing and releasing acid.

Sleeping Pills And Sedatives

Benzodiazepines, such as diazepam (Valium) and lorazepam (Ativan), work to relieve anxiety and aid relaxation. They also relax the lower esophageal sphincter (LES), which may cause heartburn. The unfortunate reality is that most people lie down after taking these medications. Lying down can increase the severity of acid reflux because reclining prevents gravity from keeping stomach acid down, meaning it can get into the esophagus.

Iron Supplements

Iron supplementation is typically reserved as a treatment for people with iron deficiency anemia. Taking iron supplements can irritate the lining of the esophagus and contribute to acid reflux. According to research, iron erodes the mucosa in the gastrointestinal tract. Iron pill-induced gastritis (inflammation of the stomach lining) has only been documented in people who take iron supplements in pill form, not liquid form.

Ibuprofen

Over-the-counter ibuprofen products, such as Motrin or Advil, can help mitigate pain, but may cause heartburn. These products increase acid production in the stomach and reduce protective prostaglandins. According to gastroenterologists, oxycodone-acetaminophen (Percocet) can be better for the stomach than taking six Motrin tablets per day. That said, some narcotics cause heartburn and are habit-forming; not to mention, they can cause constipation.

Potassium Supplements

Potassium supplements can help regulate blood pressure, but they can also irritate the esophageal lining. Now, that isn’t to say that every person who takes potassium supplements will experience heartburn. You can reduce your chances of heartburn by taking the supplements while sitting up and drinking plenty of water with them. No matter what supplement you take, always speak with your healthcare provider before starting. The FDA minimally regulates dietary supplements and their effects vary from person to person. If you are nervous about dosage or negative interactions with current medications, talk to your healthcare provider.

Tricyclic Antidepressants

Some psychiatric drugs, such as antidepressants, work in a specific way and have fewer gastrointestinal side effects. However, some older tricyclic antidepressants, such as imipramine or amitriptyline, may cause heartburn because they slow how quickly the stomach empties. Tricyclic antidepressants can also relax the LES, which increases the risk of heartburn.

Antibiotics

Tetracyclines are a class of broad-spectrum antibiotics that treat common bacterial infections. One of the drawbacks is that they can cause heartburn. If you tend to experience heartburn regularly and require antibiotics, consult your health care provider to get one that is gentle on the stomach and esophagus. An enteric-coated pill may be less abrasive because the coating keeps the pill intact as it passes through the stomach. That means it dissolves in the small intestine, not your stomach.

Everybody needs sun exposure to absorb vitamin D, but nobody has time for the lobster life. We understand that you may not want to lather up in sunscreen all day, and we don’t blame you because many varieties contain chemicals and harm coral reefs, but you also don’t want awkward tan lines, peeling skin, or sun blisters.

According to the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD), a sunburn has more long-term damage than you may realize. It’s not a color that will inevitably fade; rather, a damaging sunburn that results in blisters during childhood or adolescence can double the chances of developing melanoma. Additionally, repeated exposure to ultraviolet light, without taking proper skin protecting measures, increases the risk of premature aging and skin cancer.

The good news is that a lot of home remedies can accelerate the healing process and reduce the sting or discomfort of sunburns. Some of the best natural remedies that will save your skin after too much time in the sun are listed below.

Baking Soda Bath

Baking soda has powerful anti-inflammatory properties that help to reduce the itchiness and redness of sunburns. Take a half-cup of baking soda and stir it into a lukewarm bath and soak in the bath for about 20 minutes. Alternatively, you can draw a bath and stir 2-4 cups of finely ground oats, 1 cup of baking soda, and 1 cup of evaporated milk, all of which help to fight inflammation.

Apply Aloe Vera

First off, get some fresh aloe vera and avoid using the bottled aloe vera gel, which often contains alcohol and can dry out the skin. You want maximum hydration after a sunburn, so it is recommended to apply the fresh aloe plant directly on the skin. Aloe provides soothing and cooling properties, making it great for sunburnt skin.

Use Witch Hazel

Witch hazel is a common ingredient in DIY skin care and hair care recipes, but it can be beneficial for soothing sunburns. The reason for this is because it contains tannins, which work to repair damaged skin and decrease swelling. If too much fun in the sun left you looking like a lobster, witch hazel is a great solution. Pour about three tablespoons of witch hazel into a bowl, dip a cotton ball in it, and gently dab the cotton ball on sunburnt skin.

Make Sure To Hydrate

It is common for sunburnt victims to experience dehydration because the sunburn draws fluid away from the rest of the body and to the skin. Replenish your fluids by consuming lots of water, not soda, not caffeine, and definitely not alcohol. The reason you should avoid alcohol after a sunburn is because it can slow the healing process by dehydrating the body even more.

Mist With Frankincense Oil

Essential oils like peppermint and tea tree work wonders for the skin, and they often overshadow the skin-regenerating properties of frankincense essential oil. Frankincense can help to reduce the pain of a sunburn and can accelerate the healing process. To make a sunburn relief spray, add 8-15 drops of frankincense essential oil to a spray bottle and fill the rest of the bottle with filtered water. Mist the affected area to promote healing.

Mist With Lavender Oil

Once upon a time in early 20th century France, a chemist discovered the healing properties of lavender. He wasn’t the first person to realize these properties; rather, he accidentally dunked his hand into a large bowl of lavender oil after severely burning his hand. To his surprise, the burn healed quickly! Lavender essential oil can have the same healing effects on sunburnt skin. Mix one teaspoon of lavender and two ounces of filtered water in a spray bottle. Shake this up and mist onto the sunburn as needed.

Try White Vinegar

Acetic acid, which works to relieve pain, is a component of aspirin, but you don’t need to take aspirin when you have distilled white vinegar. Don’t drink the stuff; rather, soak some paper towels in the vinegar and gently pat sunburnt skin to help reduce itching and inflammation. If the face is burnt, avoid the eye area because vinegar in the eyes is worse than the pain of your sunburn. You can also pour one cup of distilled white vinegar in a tepid bath and soak for 20 minutes.

The blood works to deliver nutrients and oxygen to all areas of the body. This cannot happen efficiently if there are problems with the circulatory system. Typically caused by plaque build-up in the arteries, poor circulation is commonly a symptom of more serious issues like high cholesterol or high blood pressure. It is wise to pay attention to the signs of poor circulation so that you can act fast and improve blood flow before your health worsens.

Symptoms Of Poor Circulation

It’s important to remember that the body is not stupid. What we mean by this is that it will give you signs to alert you that something is awry. For instance, the following symptoms are the body’s way of telling you that your circulation is impaired, especially if you are experiencing them on a regular basis.

 • Cold feet & toes (even during warm weather)
 • Varicose veins or spider veins
 • Fatigue
 • Frequent dizziness
 • Blemishes or spots on the skin
 • Water retention
 • Feeling pins and needles in extremities

Poor circulation is most often caused by poor lifestyle choices. Habits like smoking or lack of exercise combined with eating a poor diet (foods that contain processed ingredients, refined grains, sugars, antibiotics, and hormones) can lead to impaired circulation. Making small lifestyle changes can help you avoid arterial build-up and keep your blood flowing like it should. While it is recommended to make a dietary change and incorporate more movement in your life, you may want to start consuming the following teas to naturally improve circulation.

Chinese Hawthorn Tea

A 2011 study, which was published in Pharmacognosy Review, found that Chinese hawthorn has the ability to help reduce blood pressure and improve circulation. This herb has been used in China for many years to help alleviate the symptoms of heart disease, but more studies need to be done on the proper dosage of Chinese hawthorn tea to determine how much one should drink a day to improve circulation.

Garlic Tea

Sometimes you have to do something out of the ordinary to promote natural healing. Known for its ability to dilate blood vessels and increase nitric oxide production in the body, garlic has an array of health benefits, including antiviral, anti-inflammatory, and antifungal properties. One study found that people who drank garlic tea for seven days straight experienced increased circulation in their calf muscles.

White Willow Bark Tea

Known as the “natural aspirin,” white willow bark has powerful anticoagulant properties that work to improve blood flow. Continued consumption of white willow bark can reduce the risk of internal clotting. Because white willow bark has a blood-thinning effect (similar to aspirin), you have to determine how many salicylates are in each cup, in order to avoid thinning the blood too much. It can be beneficial to consume one spoonful of white willow bark in one cup of hot water. Let it steep for 10-15 minutes and drink it once every two or three days.

]]>

The heart is a muscular, cone-shaped organ, about the size of a clenched fist, that pumps blood throughout the body and beats normally about 70 times per minute by coordinated nerve impulses and muscular contractions.

The cardiovascular system includes the heart and the blood vessels, including arteries, veins and capillaries. The heart pumps blood, and the vessels carry it throughout the body. Some of the vessels carry oxygenated blood to the organs and muscles; others carry deoxygenated blood back to the heart for processing.

A properly functioning heart is absolutely vital to life.

This article gives a brief overview of common problems of the heart and cardiovascular system.

Heart Attack

A heart attack occurs when blood flow to a section of heart muscle becomes blocked. If the flow of blood isn’t restored quickly, the section of heart muscle becomes damaged from lack of oxygen and begins to die.

According to the National Heart Lungs and Blood Institute:

Heart attack is a leading killer of both men and women in the United States. Heart attacks occur most often as a result of a condition called coronary artery disease (CAD). In CAD, a fatty material called plaque (plak) builds up over many years on the inside walls of the coronary arteries (the arteries that supply blood and oxygen to your heart).

Eventually, an area of plaque can rupture, causing a blood clot to form on the surface of the plaque. If the clot becomes large enough, it can mostly or completely block the flow of oxygen-rich blood to the part of the heart muscle fed by the artery.

During a heart attack, if the blockage in the coronary artery isn’t treated quickly, the heart muscle will begin to die and be replaced by scar tissue. This heart damage may not be obvious, or it may cause severe or long-lasting problems. Severe problems linked to heart attack can include heart failure and life-threatening arrhythmias (irregular heartbeats).

Cardiac arrest

Cardiac arrest is different from a heart attack.

It’s when a sudden change in the electrical system of the heart takes place, usually preceded by an irregular heart beat (rhythm). Basically, it’s when the lower chambers of the heart quiver instead of pump.

CPR (cardio pulmonary resuscitation) is immediately needed to prevent damage to the heart, lungs, kidneys, liver and brain.

Heart failure

Heart failure is a condition in which the heart can’t pump enough blood throughout the body.

Carditis

This is an inflammation of the heart. It is classified into three types:

 • Endocarditis-inflammation of the inner heart
 • Myocarditis-inflammation of the middle of the heart
 • Pericarditis-inflammation of the membrane surrounding the heart

Aortic Stenosis

Aortic stenosis is an abnormal or unusual narrowing of the aortic valve, which regulates blood flow from the aorta, a major artery of the heart.

Aortitis

An inflammation condition of the aorta, occurring most frequently in tertiary syphilis and occasionally in rheumatic fever. Kinds of aortitis are rheumatic aortitis and syphilitic aortitis. Mosby’s supra, p. 84

High Blood Pressure (Hypertension)

High blood pressure (a/k/a hypertension) is a degenerative disease that affects some 60 million Americans. It is when the blood pressure is chronically higher than normal, which places undue pressure on the heart muscle to perform. This condition can lead to heart failure and other heart and cardiopulmonary disease. It’s imperative to get high blood pressure under control through diet, exercise and lifestyle.

Cautionary note about blood thinning

Anytime there’s a condition of having to thin the blood, the arteries are impaired, usually obstructed and congested with some kind of debris, i.e. plaque, mucus, etc.

Beware of ALL blood thinning medication, including aspirin. In addition to thinning your blood, you are also damaging nerves, as well as the stomach lining and intestines with aspirin use and/or daily consumption.

Healing Heart Problems Naturally

If you use tobacco, stop. Tobacco should be avoided at all costs, especially if you have heart problems. If you smoke, you are giving the heart 10 times the amount of carbon monoxide than you would be giving it oxygen.

Herbs

Nature is bounteous in the number of herbs she gives for the heart and cardiovascular system.

Beneficial plants or herbs for the heart include:

These herbs, most of them (along with other necessary changes, i.e. diet, lifestyle, thought-process, etc.), will help to heal cases of high blood pressure, angina pectoris, and irregular heartbeat and a myriad of other heart disorders and problems.

NOTE: Yohimbe bark and Licorice root herbs will only cause heart problems when a heart is weak, due to understimulation or overstimulation.

Special note about Cayenne

Of all the herbs listed above, one stands out as the most important and effective for cardio health and that is Cayenne, a/k/a Capsicum fruit, as it is the only herb or substance for that may help alleviate a heart attack while in progress.

If a little Cayenne is placed in the mouth (under the tongue) during a heart attack, it may alleviate the heart attack by helping stimulate the heart’s electrical system.

Magnet therapy

If you have a pacemaker, DO NOT use magnet therapy.

Magnets deal with polarity and knowing a magnet’s polarities is important. The “south” side of a magnet is stimulating and the “north” side is healing. If suffering from a heart challenge, like from a weak heart, you wouldn’t want to stimulate the heart so you wouldn’t wear the magnet with its “south side to your heart.

Reduce stress

Reduce or remove stress from your life-it negatively effects the heart. Consider performing yoga, deep breathing exercises, tai chi, qi chong, or other subtle exercises which beneficially help the heart.

Chakra balancing

Chakra balancing of the 4th Chakra will greatly help the heart on all levels, but especially on the emotional (energetic) level.

Physical exercise

Physical exercise can help the heart, but not vigorous exercises. Vigorous physical exercises put too much stress on the heart. Many people overdo cardio exercises while in the gym and do more harm than good for the heart. When it comes to exercise, strain and stress is not always best or good. People don’t know it but in most cases they stress and strain their heart and other organs when working out in the gym.

Dietary Intervention

Change your diet to a more nutrition-dense diet, a diet rich in necessary and vital nutrients that will nourish and maintain the body and foster healing.

Eat more raw fruits and vegetables, seeds and nuts (good ones), and healthy grains. Choose organic foods whenever they’re available.

Drink plenty of vegetable juice every chance you get-it’s very alkalizing.

Drink alkaline water. It’s the best water you can drink. Distilled water is great for drinking while you’re detoxing but I wouldn’t recommend to drink it outside of body cleansing and purification purposes (which includes fasting).

Cut out fried and fatty foods.

Bake your foods instead of frying them. Only use olive oil or other healthy cooking oils to cook with. Avoid all potentially harmful cooking oils on the market, i.e. vegetable oil, corn oil, canola oil, soy oil, peanut oil, as well as margarine and other synthetic spreads.

A blood thinner is an anti-coagulant designed to stop blood clots. They are used to stop platelets, or heavy cells, present in blood plasma from forming clots (blood clots). They are most used in those who are at risk for heart attack, stroke, or aneurysms.

A blood thinner is usually composed of several different chemical formations, with the most common blood thinner, and most often used blood thinner being aspirin, taken in doses of 81mg per day, essentially one baby aspirin.

Aspirin has been recognized as a blood thinner for at least 50 years. Aspirin significantly reduces platelet counts. Often, doctors will prescribe a daily dose of aspirin as the only required cardiac medicine for a patient.

Side Effects

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services warns consumers of these side effects from blood thinners:

 • Menstrual bleeding that is much heavier than normal.
 • Red or brown urine.
 • Bowel movements that are red or look like tar.
 • Bleeding from the gums or nose that does not stop quickly.
 • Vomit that is brown or bright red.
 • Anything red in color that you cough up.
 • Severe pain, such as a headache or stomachache.
 • Unusual bruising.
 • A cut that does not stop bleeding.
 • A serious fall or bump on the head.
 • Dizziness or weakness

Some people who take a blood thinner may experience hair loss or skin rashes, but this is rare.

Natural Healing

If you feel you must use a blood-thinning agent, choose an herb such as Ginkgo Biloba or garlic, or drink green tea.

The blood should be purified periodically. It should be cleansed, rebuilt, and nourished. Herbs that can help repair the blood include:

It’s interesting when people ask if something-like Dherbs products-are FDA approved. The assumption is that the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is the authority on what’s safe, acceptable, and healthy. The FDA stamp of approval is not the criterion for safety or what is actually safe for human consumption.

The truth is that the FDA regulates food, drugs, supplements, personal care products-basically anything you put in or on the body. But just because something is approved, approved by government (FDA), doesn’t mean it’s safe.

Aspirin is approved by the FDA but yet in still aspirin kills some 25,000 people per year. So the fact is, aspirin is approved, but it’s not safe. Prozac is approved, but it isn’t safe. Deprivin is approved, but it isn’t safe. Coumadin is approved but it isn’t safe.

No drug nourishes your body, but what drugs do in fact do is pollute the body and harm the body.

Is it really wise to trust an agency that actually promoted smoking until the 1970s when we know that cigarettes and cigarette smoke kills and by the hundreds of thousands of people every year?

The FDA does not automatically serve the interests of the American people. The interests of the pharmaceutical industry are frequently considered, which isn’t surprising considering the number of people who work at the FDA also have career histories working for pharmaceutical companies.

]]>

You may be experiencing pain right now in your life due to some known or unknown pathology, ailment, or injury. The pain is there for a reason, as a sensor (that something is wrong or not right, damaged or impaired), and also as a reminder! Yes a reminder!

“But it really hurts!” “I don’t want to feel this pain!” I’m sorry, Beloved, but you have to. You see, everything happens for a reason. The pain is a statement and a reminder that YOU did something in YOUR past which the pain is part of the manifestation of the result or reaction. You violated some basic and natural law pertaining to yourself (your makeup or biology) and/or Nature and Universal law.

What is the opposite or polarity of pain? Answer: PLEASURE! Well, the pain is the inversion of a past pleasure you engaged in, and perhaps unconsciously so, that was a violation in some respect of biological law, Nature’s law, and/or Universal law.

You know, in our society we consider many harmful and unnatural things (acts, behaviors) as pleasurable, i.e. smoking cigarettes, consuming hard drugs (illegal drugs), consuming hard liquor, indiscriminate sex (even animals take time to get to know prospective mates); eating unnatural foods (meat and dairy products, sugar, refined grains/pastries), working out at the gym, jogging and running (on cement/asphalt), and wearing certain insalubrious clothing or garments (including bras which play a role in breast cancer which is quite painful, especially when tumors are present). These are just a few of the unnatural and harmful things many people derive pleasure from.

When we derive pleasure from that which is unnatural, pain, irritation, or discomfort is sure to follow. Look at all the people who unwisely smoked cigarettes for many years and then developed some form of lung, liver, or pancreatic cancer. They enjoyed smoking for all those years and nobody could tell em’ to stop smoking or that smoking is bad for your health. No! They weren’t trying to hear this. All they wanted to do was puff on a symbolic phallus and get their nicotine fix. But then cancer hits and within a few months they are in tremendous pain, and for many, in a coffin due to death!

As a healing assistant I do not feel bad for people in these circumstances because I know they put themselves there in the first place. It’s the Law of Cause and Effect, personal karma in action! Every action has a reaction.

You may not feel the pain to your body from the initial harmful thing or act, but when the disease physically manifests, then you will feel the pain of the initial painful act that you were probably numb to, especially if the act pertains to an opiate of some kind, i.e. alcohol, smoking, or drugs.

When you have a disease, ailment, sickness, or injury, YOU brought it on yourself, first by way of thinking and thoughts, next, by actions – acting out on the thought(s) in your mind.

Many times folks are out there having indiscriminate sex, violating the laws of their body and personal-self care, respect, and discrimination. Oh yes, the sex act itself is very pleasurable, but disease and injury (on all levels of existence) can come out of the sex act and often does, i.e. sexually transmitted disease and abortion.

So you engaged in sex with this person you hardly knew (or thought you knew), but the person was “out there” in the past and so a few days later you get this very painful sensation, a burning sensation. Every time you go to urinate it feels like you’re pissing out razor blades. As the days progress, the pain intensifies and even becomes unbearable. You want immediate relief! Relief right now! But wait! Go back to the unhealthy pleasurable act. You didn’t want to think things through or over at the particular moment you were about to have sex. No! You just wanted to get between the sheets and do the ‘wild thing’ or ‘oochie coochie.’ Every action has a reaction. There is no escaping the law!

Pain teaches us a lesson but most of us get so caught up into the pain (due to focusing on the pain) that we fail to learn the lesson that pain brings. Many opt for drugs to numb the pain but no drug can numb pain. Drugs don’t work on the cause of pain because they can’t. Drugs can only distracts attention away from pain. Take a headache for example. When you take an aspirin, the aspirin works on your nerves impairing your ability to feel. You don’t eradicate pain by numbing your sense of feeling. You are supposed to feel! But this is what the drug does – it damages your nerves to get focus off the problem and the problem is not with the nerves but something else, some other organ or gland in the body.Maybe you have a tummy ache! “Why does my stomach hurts so much!” “The pain is unbearable!” Okay, understandable! But what did you do to warrant such an experiment? Possible scenarios: “Well, I went to a wedding celebration and I ate there” or “my boyfriend took me out to dinner and I ate too much?” Ate too much of what? Well, I had some Hibachi chicken, shrimp scampi, lobster, crab legs, and a baked potato. Well, there you go! Look at what you ate! Not just what you ate too much of, but what you ate in the first place. What you ate was unhealthy. Eating too much of that which is unhealthy is greatly unhealthy. Your tummy ache is a sensor to you – that you harmed yourself! The pain is a reminder (though many may see as punishment, and understandably so).

Pharmaceutical analgesics and anodynes do more harm than good. They only mask problems. Drugs redirect focus. Pain may appear to subside after taking drugs but that’s because the Body Intelligence shifts its focus from the pain to the toxicity of the drug and so all of the body’s energy for purposes of addressing go towards the drug and its toxicity so you feel a little relief from the pain. It’s simply a redirection of energy.

Many times a drug will numb you to pain so much so that you can’t naturally feel the pain subside. In most cases pain will naturally subside unless there’s a serious problem, i.e. cancer, breast tumor or cysts, etc.

Pain is never a cause, only and always a sensor, a reaction. To eradicate pain one must go to the root source. One must know how to excavate: GO DEEP!

There’s temporary pain and chronic pain and both denote something or convey a deeper message. I can usually help people get to the root source of the pain via consultation whereby I ask numerous questions and began putting pieces together via insight and intuition (something I’m very good at).

Whether you’re experiencing pain by way of headache, menstrual cycle, cancer, tumor or cyst, athletic injury, collision, or industrial injury, there are numerous things that you can do to address your pain; however, pain will never permanently stay away if the message is not received. You can delude the pain away with drugs and other substances and physical manipulations but it will always return at some point in the future because again, it is there in the first place to give you information so a lesson can be learned.

You’ll never past the test and move on until you learn the lesson. Never! As rapper KRS-One said in a rap song: YOU MUST LEARN! And you must!

Natural substances that can help to provide relief of pain until you can deal with the root of the problem include: White Willow Bark, Black Willow Bark, Red Willow Bark, Meadowsweet, Feverfew, Wood Betony, Balm of Gilead, Poplar Bark, Wild Lettuce, Peppermint, Wintergreen, Spearmint, Lavender Flower, and Chamomile.

The herbs above are far better and safer than aspirin and other pharmaceutical drugs such as Motrin (Ibuprofen), morphine, Midol, etc and most importantly they are not addictive. Many people become addicted to painkillers.

MSM Sulfur (methyl sulphonal methane) is also very useful for pain.

An ice pack on the site of pain is also helpful.

Magnets (magnetic therapy) are also useful and helpful in conditions of pain. Magnets create heat within blood vessels that reverse constriction and allow oxygen and nutrients to come to the site of injury or damage that enhance and speed the healing process.

In closing, pain is a natural process of life – the polarity of pleasure. Sex is pleasurable but nine months later the childbirth is painful.

Pain is a sensor, a warning signal. It conveys a message. It is not to be ignored. Just as you would not ignore the oil warning light in your car if it came on, neither should you ignore the warning signals of your body. If your oil light or low gas warning light came on while you were driving, you wouldn’t get some black colored duck tape and cover up the warning light or stop the car and cut the wires to the sensor/warning light, would you? Of course not! You’d address the situation right away and if you didn’t what would happen? Your car would break down on the highway or road. Well, the same thing with your body. It too will break down on you and this is what is happening with so many people. Bodies are breaking down due to so many people ignoring their body’s warning signals and others numbing themselves down to the knowledge of the body signal (via pharmaceutical drugs).

Well, now you should know – pain is a friend! Yes, the friend hat nobody wants. In pain is a deep and profound lesson if we would only listen.

The human body speaks via metaphor. Are you listening? Or are you drugged out of your damn mind and can’t hear a damn thing?
