I love the smell... it reminds me of Vick's vapor rub that my mother would smear across my chest, throat, face, and back when I was an asthmatic child! It does offer a calming effect when I'm trying to relax and go to sleep. I inhale it really deep into both nostrils and hold my breath several seconds. *
