I am trying to help a pregnant woman with cholestasis of pregnancy (buildup of bile acids in the mother's blood). She is due in 6 weeks and they are threatening to induce her because of the danger to the baby. I came across a treatment using 1 T of charcoal every hour. I am just trying to get some more input as to whether this is okay to do. Could there be any problems with this?

I too would recommend Activated Charcoal in addition Liver, Spleen & Gallbladder and Eklampien-Rid Formula, and Detox Tea.
