This is a filling breakfast that will help you power through those groggy mornings. The chia seeds and almond butter contain lots of plant-based protein, while the the apple provides a healthy dose of fiber.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c homemade almond milk
  • 2 tbsp. chia seeds
  • 2 tbsp. raw almond butter
  • 3 dates, roughly chopped
  • 1 tbsp. raw agave syrup
  • 1/2 tsp. mixed spice
  • 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1 green apple, peeled and cored
  • Chopped pecans, for topping

Instructions

  1. Blend all the ingredients, except the pecans, in a blender or food processor until you get a smooth consistency.
  2. Spoon into a bowl and top with chopped pecans. You could also add some fresh apple slices and cinnamon powder as toppings.
