It’s important to understand that smoothies are not solely reserved for the raw vegan diet, or for our cleanses. It’s common to think that they are because they are typically raw and easy to make. In fact, there are beneficial ways to enhance your smoothie game once you complete the cleansing regimen. There are many ingredients, which you can enjoy after a cleanse, that add incredible nutrition to smoothies. Oats, coconut milk, raw honey, coconut water, and more are excellent smoothie additions. They add tremendous nutritional value, offering nutrients like fiber, electrolytes, minerals, vitamins, antioxidants, and protein.
For this smoothie, you’re about to satisfy your sweet tooth. Don’t worry, it’s not overly sweet or dessert-like; rather, it’s a spicy sweetness similar to carrot cake. This is due to the combination of turmeric, cinnamon, vanilla, ginger, and carrots, of course. The coconut milk helps make this smoothie extra creamy as well. We know it’s different from what you know, but we encourage you to embrace the change and welcome this smoothie with a friendly palate. We hope you like it!
