Ingredients

  • 1 c raw cashews
  • 1 c filtered water
  • 2 chipotle peppers in adobo sauce
  • 1/2 lemon, juiced
  • 1 tsp. smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. onion powder
  • 1 tsp. sea salt

Instructions

  1. Add all of the ingredients to a high-speed blender and blend on high until smooth and creamy.
  2. If you do not have a strong blender, consider soaking the cashews in water for about an hour or so to help soften them. When ready to blend, discard the soaking liquid.
  3. Once your blended mixture is smooth, serve and enjoy. You can store leftover sauce in an airtight jar in the fridge for up to five days.
