Who said that salad had to be eaten in a bowl? It’s so easy to take lettuce leaves and wrap your favorite ingredients in them. You can make a simple dipping sauce and call it a day. There’s no need to be fancy or complicated; simply think outside the box to stay interested in the raw foods diet.

Ingredients
For the Wraps
- 1 carrot, sliced into matchsticks
- 1 c red cabbage, shredded
- 1 cucumber, sliced into matchsticks
- 6 green onions, diced
- 1/2 c cilantro, diced
- 8 romaine lettuce leaves
For the Dip
- 1/4 c coconut aminos
- 1 tsp. sesame seeds (not toasted)
- 1 tsp. raw agave syrup
- pinch of red pepper flakes
Instructions
For the Dipping Sauce
- Add all of the ingredients to a bowl and whisk to combine. Set aside while you assemble the wraps.
For the Wraps
- To make one wrap, place a single romaine leaf on a flat surface and make sure the top of the leaf is facing you. Put a little bit of each vegetable across the leaf as if you were about to assemble a sushi roll. Roll the leaf up and set the rolled side down to avoid opening.
- After assembling all of the wraps, get ready to dig in. Don't forget to dip the wraps in the dipping sauce!
