This goes hand in hand with practicing social distancing and proper hand washing. The foods that people are stocking their houses with, however, are non-perishables that are made with processed ingredients, added flavors, excess sugar, saturated & trans fats, and other dyes and chemicals, all of which are not conducive to immune health. As A.D. advises in the interview, it is beneficial to focus on a combination of fresh fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, legumes, and whole grains. Turmeric, citrus fruits, leafy greens, quinoa, ginger, avocados, herbal teas, and more are extremely beneficial for assisting with immune health.
