Today was a good day. Got great sleep last night, but I woke up sore as hell. That trainer Drew…fabulous. If it doesn’t burn it wasn’t worth it. I started my day as I always do with a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar as soon a I woke up. Took my shower had my first large glass of water and then took my first set of pills. The day went by smoothly. I talked to my sister at lunch and I told her what I was doing with this challenge and she made me feel good about this. I know for me, I see some of my friends using hydroxicut, secret formulas from Mexico, lypo here, injections there, gastro, or that new clamp and I stand back and look at them a year later and they are back to the way they started. I never wanted to do the shortcut method (although it has crossed my mind a few times). I want to do this with an understanding of how to continue to be fit and be healthy at the same time.
There is a big difference between fit and healthy that many people don’t understand. I have learned the last few years, that skinny does NOT mean healthy. I have known a few people to be so fit, six pack, cuts up the ying yang and have cancer, always with a flu, high blood pressure…the works. I don’t want to be like that. I want to understand food, what its purpose is for me and how to use it to my advantage.
I am determined to make this work for me permanently. So if you come back to me in a year or 5 years (besides me finally having a child) I will be healthy in shape and still working it.
