I decided to start my weight release cleanse 7 days before I headed out on a cruise. It was a reward because I completed a half marathon in each of the 50 states. I figured, “Why not start right away?” It was the best choice I’ve ever made. There was so much food on the cruise! Of course, for the past 2 years I have been struggling with feeling bloated, lethargic and not wanting to do really much of anything, so I wasn’t prepared for my last half marathon. I promised myself 20 days before to “get out of the house” and just walk 3 times a day, which I was very consistent with. I have gained over 40 pounds since my ironman in the fall of 2017 and struggled as I stated earlier. My hope was that this cleanse would help regulate my thyroid and improve my eating habits, because I surely was off-track. In the coming days, I will share each day’s story, which I journaled, and how things were going during the weight release cleanse.
