Elephants have a natural resistance to cancer. It’s not that they don’t ever get cancer, but less than 5% of elephants die from it compared to humans that are around 25%. It’s important to do studies like this to understand how naturally elephants bodies can tackle cancer, and discovering ways to possibly apply them.
