There are those who are blessed with clear skin and there are those who aren’t. Acne can be a curse, often times inhibiting people from developing higher self-confidence. Millions of people have acne at some point in life, which means that you aren’t alone. While there are lots of acne treatments and acne scar creams out there on the market, a lot of these products have toxic chemicals that can harm your body.
Aside from the expense aspect of most of these skincare products, they aren’t always effective. It is always best to try and remedy the situation naturally. When you use herbal remedies, you know exactly what you are putting on/in your body, and it is usually a lot more cost effective.
Lemons work to promote healthy skin cell growth, while helping to repair damaged skin in the process. They can help to remove dead skin cells and promote the growth of new, healthy cells that have better elasticity. Additionally, the vitamin C content in lemons helps to speed up the healing time of scars. The citric acid works to make your skin look more youthful, making the scars less noticeable in the process.
