Today (March 14th) is National Pi Day! Pi is the Greek symbol that is used in mathematics to represent the ratio of a circle’s circumference to its diameter. This number has an infinite amount of decimal digits, but it is approximated to be 3.14159, or simply 3.14.
Since humans love to eat and pi is only one letter shy of pie, why not make National Pi Day about food? Pie and pizza (pie) restaurants alike use this day to give customers deals on all things related to pie. Whether you are getting a $3.14 discount, a slice of pie for $3.14, or even a whole pizza for $3.14, most places will entice you with their deals one way or the other.
Pies and pizzas are often filled with a lot of sugar, excess carbohydrates, salt, oil, or anything else that is bad for you yet makes food taste good. To break the unhealthy cycle of today, we are giving you three scrumptious pie recipes. We aren’t including pizza because that isn’t a traditional pie in our eyes. Additionally, all of these recipes are Full Body Cleanse Approved, so you can enjoy them for dessert tonight! If you end up making one of these, make a post about it and tag us on social media or comment on this article with a picture.
