In an effort to be more environmentally friendly, Dherbs CFO, Katerina Hajkova, recently purchased the Tesla Model X. While the technology is undoubtedly impressive, Hajkova is more concerned with becoming greener and reducing CO2 emissions.
As the CFO for Dherbs Inc., one of the leading online herbal supplement retailers, Hajkova is committed to the world of health and wellness. “Being healthy is about more than taking care of the body,” Hajkova said. A lot of health conditions can be linked to airborne pollutants and other environmental toxins. “It’s the little changes here and there that help establish a healthier future.”
Hajkova has always wanted to have a positive impact on the environment. Not only has she been donating to the NRDC and Amnesty International for years, she has also been composting at her house for the past five years. She said, “Having a Tesla is not like buying a new phone or jumping on the latest trending product. The decision to get the Model X was based solely on the fact that I don’t want to drive a gas-powered car anymore.”
Not only does Dherbs have a Tesla charger, the entire building will soon be solar-powered. Solar panel installation is currently underway and the project is forecasted to be complete by early October 2018.
