Are you late to the sorbet party? It’s perfectly fine if you are because latecomers are always welcome, especially when it comes to making healthy desserts that you can enjoy guilt-free. Since people cannot have processed candies and chocolate bars while they are cleansing, we like to provide raw vegan dessert options. People often think that there is no such thing as a raw vegan dessert, but they’ve obviously never browsed our recipe section (click here to check it out).
This post maybe a little late, but it is still summer and we want to enjoy refreshing, light desserts. We’ve made a lot of cleanse-approved desserts over the years, but there’s a specific happiness that comes from a spoonful of a fruity sorbet. Not only are sorbets much healthier options than sugary, dairy ice creams, they are, dare we claim, much better and tastier. Before you take offense to that statement, hear us out.
You can turn almost every single fruit into a sorbet. Do you enjoy watermelons? How about snacking on peaches? Well, you can turn both of those fruits into sorbets! Not only are sorbets great ways to treat yourself to guilt-free desserts, but they also deliver the same nutrients that you would get if you were to eat the fruit fresh. The great thing about summer is that so many sorbet-worthy fruits are in season. Mangos, kiwis, pineapples, peaches, raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, papayas, passionfruit, and melons are freshest during summer, so start making those sorbets as soon as you can.
When you make sorbets yourself, there is no need for added syrups or flavorings because the fruits are so fresh and so sweet. To show you how easy it is to make sorbets, we are presenting you with three sorbet recipes that only require three ingredients.
All You Need For A Healthy Fruit Sorbet
- A great blender or small food processor
- Raw agave syrup or grade A pure maple syrup
