Ingredients
For the Slaw
- 3 c green cabbage, shredded
- 2 c purple cabbage, shredded
- 2 c shredded carrots
- 1/4 c green onions, sliced
- 1 tsp. lemon zest
For the Dressing
- 1/2 c raw tahini
- 1/4 c water
- 1/4 c freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tsp. raw agave nectar
- 3/4 tsp. sea salt
- 1/2 tsp. onion powder
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
Instructions
For the Slaw
- Add all of the ingredients to a large bowl and toss gently to combine.
- Set aside while you prepare the dressing.
For the Dressing
- Add all of the ingredients to a blender and blend until creamy. Taste and adjust seasonings as needed.
- Pour the dressing over the slaw and toss until all of the ingredients are coated in dressing. For the best results, cover the bowl of slaw and allow it to sit in the fridge for an hour before serving.
