Ingredients
- 1/2 c old fashioned oats
- 1/2 c unsweetened almond milk
- 1 1/2 ripe bananas sliced, divided
- 2 tsp. grade A maple syrup
- 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp. ground nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp. pure vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp. almonds/walnuts, chopped
Instructions
- Add the oats and almond milk to a mason jar or container and mix well to combine.
- Stir in once sliced banana, reserving the remaining half banana for topping the next morning. Add the maple syrup, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla extract to the jar and mix well.
- Before you screw on the top of the jar, top the oat mixture with the almonds. Place in the fridge to set overnight.
- In the morning, remove the jar from the fridge and top with the remaining half banana. Enjoy immediately or warm in the microwave for two minutes to enjoy hot.
