Ingredients
- 4 c filtered water
- 1 c blackberries
- 2 limes, juiced
- 3 tbsp. chia seeds
- 3 tbsp. grade A maple syrup
Instructions
- Add 2 cups of water, 3/4 cup blackberries, the juice of 1.5 limes, and maple syrup to a blender. Blend until completely smooth.
- Strain this mixture through a cheesecloth or fine mesh sieve.
- In a larger pitcher, combine the chia seeds with the other two cups of water. Stir thoroughly so that the seeds do not clump. Pour in the blackberry mixture and stir again.
- Cut the remaining half of the lime into thin slices and add it, along with the remaining quarter-cup of blackberries, to the large pitcher.
- Place the pitcher in the fridge and allow it to cool for 30 minutes. Remove from the fridge, pour over ice, and enjoy.
