I was diagnosed with Hsv 1 and hsv2 in January. I felt guilty, embarrassed, and a big list of negative adjectives you can use with anyone, even with yourself. I thought my life was over (above all, the sexual one). I couldn't accept that this disease had no cure, and that virus was going to live in me forever, and also, I was going to share it with someone else.
