What are Fibroid Tumors
Fibroid tumors are an epidemic in today’s world affecting women in their late teens, 20s, 30s, 40s and 50s. No race of females is immune to this insidious disease; however, the particular health challenge is found most commonly in females of the African-American race, followed by Caucasian and Hispanic/Latino. The two most common types of fibroid tumors are (1) UTERINE fibroid tumors, and (2) OVARIAN fibroid tumors. Though very rare, there are also tumors that develop on the cervix. The Fibroid Cleanse and Regimen is ALL-NATURAL, safe and effective at aiding with the process of shrinking, dissolving and preventing future growth of fibroid tumors.
Fibroid tumors are benign growths that usually form on the interior muscular wall and the exterior of the uterus, the exterior of the ovaries, and also the cervix in some cases. A tumor is medically defined as: “A swelling or enlargement occurring in inflammatory conditions; a new growth of tissue characterized by progressive, uncontrolled proliferation of cells. The tumor may be localized or invasive, benign or malignant. A tumor may be named for its location, for its cellular makeup, or for the person who first identified it.” SOURCE: Mosby’s Medical Dictionary, 3rd edition, pg. 1204. A fibroid tumor (in layman’s terms) is an internal trash bag that holds accumulated waste (scarred tissue and other junk) trapped in the female body due to blockage of the other major eliminative channels (including the uterus). Since fibroid tumors develop in the female reproductive system it indicates an imbalance of the female sexual reproductive system. Fibroids typically vary in size, with some being marble‐sized or smaller. However, fibroids can grow to the size of a grapefruit, cantaloupe or even the size of a small fetus. The concern for large fibroids is pressure on the bladder, bowels, or sensitive pelvic nerves, causing a variety of symptoms including pelvic pain, frequent urination, constipation, lower back pain, irritable bowels, and excessive menstrual bleeding, which could potentially lead to anemia in some cases.
- Myometrial -in the muscle wall of the uterus
- Submucosal - just under the surface of the uterine lining
- Subserosal - just under the outside covering of the uterus
- Pendunculated - occurring on a long stalk on the outside of the uterus or inside the cavity of the uterus
Uterine fibroids occur when a single uterine muscle cell spontaneously begins to reproduce itself over and over again until it creates a firm mass of tissue. However, it is unknown “exactly” why women develop these tumors and why they continue to grow. There is evidence that animal protein, processed foods, chemicals in personal care products, pesticide residues, and various other environmental toxins increase the chances of developing the tumors. Fibroids tend to develop and grow during a woman's childbearing years, when the body produces these hormones at peak levels. Once a woman enters menopause, hormone production is greatly reduced and fibroids typically stop growing and may even shrink.
Estrogen Dominance : Exposure to xenoestrogens (estrogens produced outside the body) are also said to be a cause of fibroid growth.
Common Estrogen producing substances:
- Birth control pills
- Hormone replacement drugs
- Condom spermicides
- Personal care products (cosmetics mostly)
- Plastic cookware
- Growth hormones found in factory-farmed animal products
