Golden Smoothie

INGREDIENTS

2 kiwi fruit
1 banana
1/2 cup orange juice
1/2 cup frozen mango chunks (or other frozen fruit chunks)

DIRECTIONS

Peel and slice the kiwi fruit, and blend. Add banana, orange juice and frozen fruit. Blend until smooth. Pour over ice cubes in two long glasses.

Serves 2

Healing Smoothie

This is a great drink for anyone, especially those with ulcers. This drink has soothing qualities which protect and heal the stomach lining.

INGREDIENTS

1 firm kiwi fruit, peeled
1/4 cantaloupe, with skin
1 ripe banana

DIRECTIONS

1. Push kiwi fruit and cantaloupe through the hopper.
2. Place juice and banana in a blender or food processor and blend until smooth.
3. Pour into a tall glass, drink immediately and enjoy!!

Super YUM Kiwi Smooothie

INGREDIENTS

3 kiwis
4 nectarines
2 carrots
2 bananas

DIRECTIONS

Juice kiwis, nectarines and carrots. You'll get a nice big bowl of thick orange juice. Then, in a blender, add the two bananas to you juice concoction. Makes about 24 oz of smoothie. Enjoy!

Tatiana's Banana Coco Smoothie

INGREDIENTS

2 large or three small bananas (no yellow ones! nice and ripe & spotted)
1 "young" or green coconut

DIRECTIONS

1) crack open the coconut (find a good method that works for you- I haven't found mine yet! I just cut like hell till I finally get a hole in the top..)
2) our all the liquid right from the coco into the blender
3) add the bananas
4) liquify
5) YUM =)

PS- This is a great way to use up bananas that maybe ripened all at once and are getting soft...

PPS- This recipe isn't novel I know, I'm sure someone has it in a book somehwere, I just thought I'd post it b/c I discovered what you see above through my own little experiment, and I love it!

Minty Fresh Smoothie

INGREDIENTS

2 medium bananas
1 medium cucumber
2 tbs fresh basil
1 tbs fresh mint
2 small peaches or 1 apple

Monkey Shake

This juicing recipe will act as an aid for indigestion.

INGREDIENTS

1/2 orange, peeled (leave white pithy part on)
1/2 papaya peeled
1 banana
Orange twist for garnish

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Juice orange with papaya.
2. Place juice and banana in to a blender or food processor, and blend until smooth.
3. Garnish with the orange twist. Pour into a tall glass and enjoy!!

CocoVanilla Creme

This is the simplest and most delicious recipe I know! I usually drink one a day!

INGREDIENTS

2 young coconuts
1 whole vanilla bean (no extracts please)

DIRECTIONS

Carefully open up coconuts and empty liquid into Champ HP3 Blender or Vitamix blender. Scoop out white "meat" out of the coconut and put into blender as well. Add whole vanilla bean into blender. Mix until smooth.

Gingalope Smoothie

INGREDIENTS

Canteloupe
Ginger Root

DIRECTIONS

1. The gingalope smoothie. its simple. just take a cantaloupe peel and de-seed.
2. Cut into pieces, about 1"-2". cut a small piece of fresh ginger root, about 1" by 1" add these into a blender or food processor and blend.

NOTE: I only have a blender, so you have to cut the cantaloupe into the small pieces and add to the blender slowly. I've found if you put all of the cantaloupe in the blender at once it will not blend the top 2/3 of your mixture.

Strawberry Tibetan Goji Berry Smoothie

INGREDIENTS

1 fresh young coconut
1 cup strawberries chopped into small pieces
2 tbs. Agave
1/4 cup soaked Tibetan goji Berries

DIRECTIONS

Carefully scrape the coconut flesh and pour the coconut water into a bowl and take out all the splinters and fibers then pour into a Blend-Tec Blender, then add all the rest of the ingredients and blend to desired consistency. If you do not have access to fresh Young Coconuts then you may also use almond milk instead. The goji berries give this smoothie such a vibrant unique energetic flavor that will delight you while giving you amazing super vitality.
