    Q: Thank you for the great advice! :) Our baby has had baby eczema since infancy; however it looks as though it is now getting worse. She has always been and continues to be breastfed; we have supplemented with formula and Gerber baby products once she was ready for solids. She is now eating foods such as oatmeal, whole milk (sometimes we tradeoff between that and baby formula), various fruits and vegetables, meats such as chicken, turkey and beef, pasta, bread, beans, rice, etc. She seems to be more interested in eating carbohydrates than anything else. Also, another question we have is pertaining to my wife's acne and melasma problem which she has had for several years since adolescence (acne) and since she started using contraceptives (melasma). She also has a few crow's feet around her eyes which she would like to get rid of. Do you have any advice and or recommendations for treating these problems? Once again, thank you for the advice and we greatly appreciate your help/suggestions.

    The baby's diet is unfortunately conducive to eczema. It is greatly acid-forming and needs to be changed immediately. For your wife, have her begin her healing journey by performing the FULL BODY DETOX.

    Q: As a diet controlled diabetic I question being able to change my diet(to raw/live foods) while I keep up the same rigorous exercise and fitness program without suffering from too many low readings of which I am prone.The program has gotten me off insulin.I also have diverticulitis and seeds and nuts have been a problem for me in the past. Any suggestions?

    A:

    Thanks for the question. I hope this helps. If you are under a doctors supervision I am forbidden to give you any advice that may alter a doctors advice. They have little to no nutritional training but their word trumps everyone. 

    What I can do is point you in the direction of programs getting the results you desire. Those three are Dr. Neil M. Barnards "program for preventing and reversing diabetes" (DVD,book), Dr. Gabriel Cousins "Raw in 30" program (DVD) and "There is a cure for diabetes" (book), and recently The Gerson Therapy has released a program for diabetes (book). 

    The common denominator in all three programs is a low fat vegan diet. The differences are that Barnard's program is a cooked vegan diet while Cousins' and Gerson's program are raw. All get results but the raw programs have a 75 percent success rate in 1 month where as the cooked version of Barnards get results in 6 months. Big difference.

    I have gotten people off of insulin in around 2 months using a high raw and low fat vegan diet. I use no oils and nuts. I do encourage avocados and seeds for fats. However, with diverticulitis you must avoid seeds until your body repairs itself through a high alkaline diet. I suggest getting a bulk of your fats from avocados and coconut. I usually limit myself to a half an avocados worth of fat a day. 

    I would look into those books first and if you are under a doctors supervision bring those materials to him/her and see what they say.

    Q: Recently I have been having a problem with my breath. I did a complete cleanse and I came to a conclusion that it is not from my colon. Lately I have been pulling up phlegm That taste and smells horrible, also I have been getting tonsilloliths (tonsil stones) about three to four times a day. If you aren’t familiar with them, they are little white or yellowish bacteria balls that cling to the back of your throat. I have tried everything. It only seems to mask the problem; I want to eliminate the problem. If You have any advice please tell me what formulas I should use. CHANGE YOUR DIET. YOU CAN HEAL THIS SITUATION BY EATING 90% RAW FOODS WHICH WILL AUTOMATICALLY FRESHEN YOUR BREATH. TRY IT AN SEE! AND CONTINUE CLEANSING TOO (I.E. FULL BODY DETOX EVERY 3 MONTHS).

    Q: I was wondering in your list you include foods that are classified as acidic (AC). I thought we were to avoid acidic foods so we can stay alkaline or do we need some acidic foods? I am guessing that there is a better explanation but please let me know. My partner and I have changed our diet after watching your videos and Dr Sebi’s video and we are very curious about this.

    I TRUST YOU READ MY ARTICLE THAT COVERS THESE FOODS BELOW. BELOVED, ACID FOODS ARE NOT BAD (UNHEALTHY) AND IN FACT YOU NEED SOME ACID FOODS TO BALANCE OUT THE DIET. THE PROBLEM IS WITH ACID-FORMING FOODS (COOKED FOODS: MEAT, DAIRY, REFINED STARCHES, REFINED GRAINS, ETC.). SO THERE'S A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ACID FOODS AND ACID-FORMING FOODS. AND YOU DO KNOW THAT MOST OF WHAT WE ARE EATING IS HYBRIDIZED, RIGHT? WE ARE NOT IN CONTROL OF WHAT WE ARE EATING TODAY. EVEN DR. SEBI EATS HYBRIDIZED FOODS. HE CAN'T HELP IT.     Q: I was wondering if anyone has actually tested negative for viral infections (such as herpes or aids) and whether it is a normal result to be considered "virus free" after completion of your detox. Or is it is just like any other detox where it "may help u feel better" by releasing certain toxins but really leaving the virus in your system.

    A:

    Just when I thought I wrote the Anti-Viral FAQ in a way that would prevent confusion. The Rulers of the Matrix (U.S.) really did a job with the information on herpes. However, I believe I made it plain with all the literature on our site.

    Herpes is TOXICITY (and parasites) and a degenerative disease which means it can be healed by changing diet, lifestyle, mindset, and attitude. We never suggested staying on the 3-week diet after the cleanse. We suggested staying away from the Standard American Diet (meat, dairy, refined grains and starches) that you ate before the 3-week cleanse. There's a difference! I hope I cleared up any confusion. Diet plays a role in herpes. It is not strictly sexually transmitted (though this might go against the medical programming people with herpes may have heard from ignorant doctors which is what is creating all the confusion).

    Q: Greetings, I wanted to first say thanks for all of the great advice you have given me over the past couple of months. On Tuesday my husband and I welcomed our second daughter into the world. We had a natural birth with a midwife, and it was the best experience ever! So, you know I have a question for you. My midwife, and pediatrician are worried, and preplexed because my daughter who was born on Tuesday has not had a bowel movement yet. She has not passed any meconium at all, and from what I've read newborns are supposed to pass this within 24 hours after birth. I was full term at 40 weeks at the time of delivery. The baby had a full ultrasound today, and I am waiting to hear the results. We are keeping a positive outlook, but you know I had to get your take on the situation because I trust your judgement and advice. I've also sent you a few photos of my family and our new baby girl.     Greetings! Wow! Adorable, precious little baby. Kudos to you and the family! Beloved, trust in Nature. Every body, and every baby is different. The baby will release when he/she is ready to release. My recent son didn't release until 2-3 days later. However, he eventually released. Babies are not on our worldly time schedule. We shouldn't hold them to our worldly expectations, because then we start to think something is wrong (with them), and start worrying which is unhealthy. Just show the love! That's it!     Q: What happens when you eat cooked foods on the Full Body Cleanse? It will be very difficult for me to do this for 20 days as I do not frequently eat raw foods.

    A:

    Cooked foods slow down the healing process. When you eat cooked foods it taxes your imune system and forces your body to work harder digesting and spend less time cleaning.

    That being said. Here are some quick tips to eating more raw foods.

    Fruit smoothies or green smoothies are perfect in a pinch. The travel well and can be really filling. here is how to make a smoothie.

    Liquid: 1-2 cups water

    Base: Bananas 2-6 or 6-8 dates

    Antioxidant: cup of berries

    (Optional)Greens: cup of baby spinach or other greens

     

    Large salads with sprouted grains or legumes

     

    Always keep fruit on hand (natures fast food) Non sulfured dried fruits work as well.

    Q: I recently received bad news that my grandmother has cancer in several areas of her body. I am having a really hard time staying positive and generally dealing with it since I live so far from my family. Being a military family will do that I guess. Anyway since I heard the news I have broken out with 2 sores on my vagina (from ingrown hairs) and it also burns when I urinate and I have even developed cuts around my anus and on my clitoris hood. I have no clue if it's a Urinary Tract Infection (UTI) or what. It even hurts when I am just lying in bed. I am starting a lemonade detox today and was hoping for any suggestions that you may have. I have not eaten meat in about two or three months. However I am still addicted to sugar. I hope all my information helps you in helping me discover a cause and solution to my issue.

    Q: What's the best way to start on a vegan/raw food diet? I am not sure what to eat to make sure I would get a nutritious diet-you may not be able to go into that much detail but how can I get sample meal plans for breakfast, lunch and dinner incorporating this type of diet-perhaps there is somewhere on the web I find something like this?     If I do say myself, the best way to start a raw food diet is to be coached by me. I run a 6 month health coaching program that is 60-90 percent raw and 100 percent vegan/gluten free/ allergy free. You can find out more about my program at www.theveganeffect.com.     Here are some other tips to get started.

    1: Join a raw food meetup group or community. Surround yourself with supportive people who can point you in the right direction. Try meetup.org or 30bananasaday.com 

    2: Read books like "beauty detox solution" by snyder, "80/10/10" by Dr. Graham., or "The Paradigm diet" by Adam Dave

    3: Start simple with breakfast. Always start your day with a green smoothie. read "Green smoothie revolution" by forget authors name at the moment. heh.

    A sample meal plan would be.

    Breakfast: Green smoothie

    Bridge: raw bar, handful of nuts or seeds, or fruit

    Lunch: Raw wraps made from collard greens. use a base of tahini, hummus, or nut butter. Fill with sprouts and colorful veggies

    Bridge: raw bar, handful nuts or seeds, or fruit

    Dinner: Raw pasta with a large salad

    Snack: Sorbet

    Q: I was diagnosed with Raynauds--circulcation in the tips of my fingers. When it is cold my blood vessels constrict causing the tips of my fingers to turn purple and sometimes oftentimes develops painful ulcers. What do you recommend?
