Ice Cream Anyone?

While Americans love and enjoy their favorite sweet treat, the overwhelming majority of ice cream eaters don't know what they're eating. Chocolate, French Vanilla, Neapolitan, Cookies N Cream, Praline Pecan, Strawberry, Chocolate Chip, Butter Pecan, Mint Chocolate Chip, Rocky Road, Marble Fudge, Chocolate Fudge and a host of other ambrosial flavored brands-harmful? How so?


Dairy

First of all, since ice cream is a dairy product, it derives from an animal.

Dairy products are a contributing cause of leukemia in young American children. Leukemia used to be a disease indicative of Caucasians, but we have recently seen an increase in the African-American population because they are consuming more dairy products than before.


Additives

Normally, ice cream is derived from a female animal. Most female animals in America are injected with synthetic chemical hormones to make the cows develop faster. Therefore, ice cream is laced with synthetic hormones that greatly affect the female and male hormonal system. These chemical hormones can cause female reproductive area cancers in human females.

If the chemical hormones of synthetic estrogen make the female cow grow bigger and develop faster, what do you think it does to young American girls who love to eat ice cream? These little young American girls are walking around at age 8, 9 and 10 with fully developed breasts and buttocks, something you didn't see in the 1950s, 1960s and early 1970s. The chemical food industry is responsible for this development.

Not only does ice cream contain harmful chemical growth hormones, but it also consists of a lot of other chemical additives that are injurious to health.

Did you know that many conventional and commercial brands of ice cream contain the same ingredient that is used in anti-freeze solution for cars? Propylene glycol is being used as an ingredient in many ice creams and cupcakes.

Other additives found in ice cream include Piperonal, which is used in place of vanilla. Piperonal is also a chemical that is used to treat lice. Diethyl glucol is a cheap chemical used as an emulsifier instead of eggs. It can also be found in antifreeze and paint removers. Butyraldehyde is used in nut-flavored ice cream and is one of the ingredients in rubber cement. Amyl acetate is a chemical used for banana flavor. However, it is also used as an oil paint solvent. Ethyl acetate is used for pineapple flavor and is mainly used as a cleaner for leather and textiles. Aldehyde C17 is a chemical used to flavor cherry ice cream but is used as a inflammable liquid used in aniline dyes, plastic and rubber.


Sugar

Ice cream is sweet because of the number one and most addictive drug in the world-sugar! And the dairy industry is very clever and has learned how to hide sugar ingredients. Various forms of synthetic chemical sugars and sweeteners can be found under such umbrella terms as:
  • Sucrol
  • Maltose
  • Dextrose
  • Glucose
  • Saccharin
  • Aspartame
  • Xylitol
And if you didn't know, saccharin and aspartame can cause cancer. These chemical artificial sweeteners are carcinogenic and can cause cancer.

Ice cream, like all other dairy products is fattening. It is impossible to have a fat-free dairy product. Low fat and nonfat products have fat in them. You can't believe everything that the food industry claims.

Remember, sugar converts into fat in the human body and is stored in the fatty reserves, including the buttocks, breasts, thighs, belly, and back arms. Many people talk about losing weight and the easiest way to do so is to avoid eating certain foods. If you are having difficulty with the willpower, discipline, self-love, or fortitude, you may be dealing with emotional blockage or spiritual imbalance.


Solutions

If you eat conventional and commercial brands of ice cream, you should read the ingredients on the label and take notice of anything that can be hazardous to your health.

I am not suggesting that we need to completely avoid eating ice cream. I am just suggesting that we should be more aware of what we're putting into our bodies. Ice cream is an American staple that does not need to be avoided, but limited in quantity.

There are many healthy nondairy alternatives to conventional ice creams.

Most health food stores carry a host of nondairy brands of ice cream that are far better and safer than regular dairy-based ice cream.

Alternative nondairy brands of ice cream include Rice Dream, Soy Dream, Carb Escapes, Freezees, Soy Delicious, Whole Soy, Tofutti, Natural Choice, and Sweet Nothings. Many different flavors are available under these brands. Whether you enjoy ice cream, sorbet, fruit bars or fudge bars, there are alternatives out there for you.

However, although these brands are nondairy, you should still read the labels for questionable ingredients, especially for the sugars. Rice Dream, Carb Escapes, Freezees, Soy Dream, and Soy Delicious seem to have the best ingredients, including sweeteners. However, Natural Choice uses evaporated sugar in their sorbet, Whole Soy uses organic sugar, and Tofutti also contains a questionable sweetener. However, compared to the real thing, these brands are much healthier and ideal for the health conscious consumer and vegan.

Ice cream is a treat that can be enjoyed as a delight or reward for special occasions. In regards to your health, you should not indulge in treats such as ice cream every day.

You would be wise to start reserving your special delights or sweet treats for the weekend, rather than engaging in them every single day during the week. Give yourself something to look forward to. That ice cream isn't going anywhere!

    Cellulite doesn't come from a crème so it can't be healed with a crème. Cellulite is the result of diet and lifestyle so you have to make the necessary changes to your diet and lifestyle. Period! You're dealing with the Law of Cause and Effect here. The cause of cellulite is poor eating and lifestyle habits and the effect of poor dieting and lifestyle is disease, i.e. cellulite. I suggest you keep on detoxing! These wraps only work minimally, but it's cutting corners because even after having them performed you are still toxic inside - a walking time bomb!

    Q: I just ordered the FULL BODY DETOX and I know there's a dietary regimen that I will have to follow. I was wondering if you would approve of a protein shake that consist of (raw hemp protein powder, raw almond butter, sea salt, flax seed, 100% young coconut water & meat inside the coconut, raw carob powder,) (optional soy or rice milk or soy or rice cream)

    Doesn't sound like it will mess up your FULL BODY DETOX. Go for it! But leave out the rice/soy cream! The rice milk is okay (but it is processed/cooked)!

    Q: I just recently found out that the face cream I have been using for 1 year has a horrible carcinogen in it called hydroquinone. I have been putting it on my face twice a day for over a year. Of course I had no idea this ingredient was a carcinogen, apparently a very serious one, until recently. I am not so worried for myself but concerned for my children who through cuddling and kissing were exposed to this substance as much as I was. What could I possibly do to get this horrible chemical out of their system and reverse it's damage. Also, my 7-year-old son had a CT scan of his head and I am worried about the radiation, can you recommend anything for that.

    Q: I am 66 yrs old and have multiple health problems-HBP, Diabetes and depression. I weigh 240 lbs. and want to get down to at least 190 or lower. My skin at this time on my arms and stomach looks awful. When I lose the weight which I intend to do with your help. Is there anything you can do to help tighten your skin as you lose weight. Remember my age.

    Thanks for the question! That is a very good question at that. 

     To avoid loose skin from weight loss the best thing you can do is lose weight slowly and efficiently. Healthy weight loss is around 1lb to 2lbs per week. Your body always seeks balance and does not respond well to rapid weight gain or loss. Hence the stretching of your skin. It takes around two years for your stretched skin to return to "normal" so be patient. Losing weight fast is a goal most people have and you hear stories of people losing 10 lbs a week and believe that is the way to go. Considering your age it's best to take things slow. Besides not losing weight too rapidly, here are three other tips for keeping skin tight.

    1. Switch to a high raw food diet. Raw food diets are often referred to as "Facelift Diets". People who eat a majority of their food raw (60% plus) look younger than most because of the high antioxidant and phytochemical count in raw plant foods. I have seen hundreds of raw foodists lose weight and cellulite at the same time. Raw food helps the body stay hydrated, refreshed, and repairing rapidly. Fruits are my favorite skin food. Avocados, coconut, bananas, peaches, tropical fruit, grapefruit, berries, etc are all potent skin renewing and correcting foods.
    2. Hydration is the key to elastic skin. A simple test to see if you are hydrated is to pinch the skin on the top of your hand for two seconds and then releasing. If the skin snaps back you are hydrated. If it slowly pulls back to position you need to hydrate. The best way to hydrate is to drink two glasses of room temperature water as soon as you wake up. As maintenance drink 8 ounces of water every two hours. Remove or lessen the amount of dehydrating foodstuffs like coffee, tea that is not herbal, table salt, animal products, artificial sugars.
    3. Take care of your skin now by exfoliating daily, doing salt scrubs, using non toxic and natural beauty products. A rule of thumb is "if you wouldn't put it in your mouth don't put it on your skin". Your skin has a direct pathway to your blood stream so be careful what you put on it. I use coconut oil on my skin daily as a moisturizer and that is it. My skin has never been better.
