The Fraud of Remission
Remission is not a cure. It is a legal and medical definition for the state in which a cancer is responding to treatment and appears to be under control. A partial remission means that the cancer has shrunk, but not disappeared. A complete remission is when all symptoms or signs of the disease disappear.
If you study legal language, especially as used by the FDA (Food and Drug Administration), you will discover that the term "cure" does not mean "healed" because you will not find the word "heal" in federal or state legislation; only the term "cure." And because the word "heal" is not found in legal definitions or statutory provisions of the term "cure" (i.e. 21 U.S.C. sec. 321), the two terms (cure and heal) are not interchangeable or identical.
A drug could never legally heal anyone because you don't find the word "heal" in the definition of a drug:
- (g)(1) The term "drug" means (A) articles recognized in the official United States Pharmacopoeia, official Homoeopathic Pharmacopoeia of the United States, or official National Formulary, or any supplement to any of them; and (B) articles intended for use in the diagnosis, cure, mitigation, treatment, or prevention of disease in man or other animals; and (C) articles (other than food) intended to affect the structure or any function of the body of man or other animals; and (D) articles intended for use as a component of any article specified in clause (A), (B), or (C). A food or dietary supplement for which a claim, subject to sections 403(r)(1)(B) and 403(r)(3) or sections 403(r)(1)(B) and 403(r)(5)(D), is made in accordance with the requirements of section 403(r) is not a drug solely because the label or the labeling contains such a claim. A food, dietary ingredient, or dietary supplement for which a truthful and not misleading statement is made in accordance with section 403(r)(6) is not a drug under clause (C) solely because the label or the labeling contains such a statement. FDA ACT, 21 U.S.C.
Based upon the above, we discover that only a drug can cure and since drugs are foreign to the human body, anything foreign to the human body could never heal or balance it: restoring the body to homeostasis. Thus, "cure" is a fraudulent and misleading term as commonly used and understood in our society.
Cure could only mean to mask a symptom because that's all drugs can do. So if drugs can cure, this only implies that to be cured of a disease simply means to have the disease's symptoms masked or managed. And when this occurs, legally and medically, it can be said that a disease is in remission or, in other words, temporary recovery.
Why is the recovery temporary?
Recovery only means the body has stabilized from the inundation of drugs, radiation, and/or chemotherapy. It has nothing to do with the actual disease.
The symptom of a disease cannot become the actual disease itself. We have two separate things here: disease and symptom, or cause and effect. For example, we have mucus in the lungs as cause and cough or coughing as the effect. If we treat the cough (via cough medication), we are only addressing the effect and not the cause. If we leave the cause (mucus) intact in the body, the effect (cough or coughing) is sure to come back.
You are not out of danger or harms way with remission of a disease. Disease is still present in your body.
Disease is either present or absent. You're either healthy or unhealthy. You either have cancer or you don't. You either have diabetes or you don't. Anybody can be a candidate for any disease by virtue of their diet, lifestyle, and thought process; but being a candidate for something and being the something are two different things. They are not equal.
So, your cancer is in remission due to chemotherapy and/or radiation? Unfortunately, you still have cancer. Your body is battling the effects of the chemotherapy and radiation and has no time for the cancer and ignores it because the cancer is not more of a threat to your existence than the chemotherapy and radiation.
If a disease is in remission, it is still present, especially if you are eating the same diet, living out the same lifestyle, and thinking the same thought process and it could be just a matter of time before the symptoms of the disease go on a rampage again.
