Dietary Thiocyanate For An African People

http://dherbs.com/images/dherbs400x400.jpg
Introduction

Dietary or nutritional thiocyanate is a very important substance necessary for optimal health and wellbeing. Thiocyanate is found in specific foods, common to the indigenous African diet as well as some Middle Eastern and Mediterranean diets.

When thiocyanate is present in the diet, it acts as an oxygen carrier and increases the capacity of the blood to transport the life-giving oxygen to every single cell of the body.

Thiocyanate is a must-have substance if one is dealing with the challenge of sickle cell anemia. Because of its oxygen-enhancing properties, a diet rich in thiocyanate is effective in helping mitigate sickling of the red blood cells (also known as sickle cell anemia), a blood disorder.

Eating for Bio-Genetics

It's believed that food should come directly from the place of one's birth because the food carries vitamins and minerals complimentary to our biogenetic makeup.

Whereever you are from, ethnically speaking, that land has special and particular nutrients in the ground complimentary to one's gene pool. People with heritage in other lands need those nutrients for optimal health and well being.

Even though our bodies have the ability to adapt to a foreign diet, this could be detrimental to one's long term health if the person consumes the foreign diet more than his or her own native diet.

Natural Sources

Dietary or nutritional thiocyanate foods include:
  • Almonds
  • Banana
  • Black eye peas
  • Brussel sprouts
  • Buckwheat
  • Butter Beans
  • Cassava
  • Cauliflower
  • Garbanzo beans
  • Horseradish
  • Lentils
  • Lima Beans
  • Millet
  • Mustard (greens)
  • Peanuts
  • Plantain
  • Raspberries
  • Rutabaga
  • Turnips
  • White Yam
As herbalist Tim Morrow wisely says, "Eat the best of what's available because the best is not available!" That's true because in America, the best is not available, so we have to eat the best of what's available.

Q: Maybe you might not want to put a quote from Albert Einstein because he was a big ole racist. He also took a lot of things from the African people including his theories. I and many other African people of African decent is not really think too kindly of Albert Einstein only when he accredit the theories and inventions that he took from the Africans.

    A:

I only take the good people say and do and discard everything else. I do the same with Albert Einstein, Beloved! He's only up on the site for a health quote. Nothing more and nothing less. Many White people take offense to me mentioning Elijah Muhammad on my site as well stating he too was a racist, but you see, you can't please everybody and that's not my goal.

Q: I was having a discussion with my sons father about whether or, not black americans are descedants of africa. He says he is black, and is not a descendant from africa. That "we" can be from any where, not just africa. He doesn't accept the term african american. My sister was present, and she agreed with him. His statement made me so angry! Do think blacks are descedents of africa? Where else are we from, Europe? I thought this was just ignorant of thim to say. Unfortunately being slightly ignorant of this subject myself, I didnt have a way to argue that we are african. Are we black people descedents of africa? Should we use the term Afrian American?

    A:

Undoubtedly we are descendants of Africa (Afraka) and we should also socially and politically go by African-American for purposes of claiming our civil rights under a government we pay tax dollars to so as to serve our interests as American citizens.

Q: I recently asked you about using protein to gain muscle and u suggested Bio-Protein powder. But when I researched the ingredients I know little of, I was astonished at this African plant. The findings are amazing lol. Man, where do u find this stuff? Lol from east Indian herbs, Asian and African...top notch products, keep up the good work! Side note: I found a product called ultimate meal replacement...equally amazing. Let it up and tell me you think.

    A:

Beloved! Yes, the Moringa is the bomb plant that is working wonders in Africa and also worldwide, especially for purposes of nutrition. I found herbs through my passion and deliberate intent to find and possess and USE the best, the most exotic, and most potent herbs around from all countries of the earth. I have been blessed to find and obtain 99% of the herbs I looked for and desired/desire. I'm still waiting to get my hands on the Tabernanthe Iboga plant that is the best plant on Earth (from Africa) in kicking drug addiction, especially for melanated people (African/African-American). The U.S. government currently has the plant banned because it would interfere with the systematic drug trafficking industry instituted by the U.S. government which helps raise revenue and create a myriad of criminal statutes in which to justify locking up people, especially poor, disenfranchised people (so-called minorities, especially Black people). But that won't stop my creation of a Substance Abuse Kit and Regimen to help people get off of drugs (illegal drugs).

Ultimate Meal replacement???? You don't want to replace a meal. The opposite of a meal is a non-meal. Regardless of what it has in it, it can never replace sitting down to eat a healthy and balanced meal. Stick to a real meal that you devise consisting of prepared earth foods and use Ultimate Meal Replacement as a supplement, so to speak.

Q: I have been diagnosed with neutropenia and been seeing a hematologist for the last 6 years. He wants to avoid doing a bone marrow biopsy on me if he can. I am also anemic and received a iron infusion about a year ago. I go weekly for a CBC count and Monday I was told that my iron count is low again. The lowest my white blood count has been is in the 700's. I am Afro-American and I know that it's common for our white blood count to run low. I rarely eat red meat. I was a vegetarian until I got pregnant with my son he is now 2 1/2 yrs old. I eat red meat about once a month now. Is there anything that I can take to build up my white blood cells count?

    A:

African Americans need not concern themselves with white blood cell count. High rise of white blood cells usually denotes foreign invaders (toxins) in the body or that something is wrong in the body. When white blood cells start to rise that's not a good sign. When they are low that's a good sign. The folly of Western medicine is that they isolate everything. You can't isolate white blood cells from red blood cells. Blood is blood and so when dealing with the blood cells you have to deal with the blood. Period! I recommend you take our Blood & Lymphatic Formula, Electric Greens Cell Food Formula and Vitamin C Combo and modify your diet (dairy, meat, starches, and all acidic beverages) and watch the amazing results. Healing does not have to be complicated unless you're trying to exploit people!

Q: I just got your Pancreas Kit and ready to start 3 weeks Regimen. I have couple questions about diet: 1. Fruits - can I eat only those you've listed, or any other allowed? I am a Type 2 diabetic, and any melons or bananas raise my blood sugar. What about green apples, strawberries and raspberries?

    A:

DHERBS: Eat your favorite fruit while monitoring your blood sugar level. It may take some time before your blood sugar levels are regulated and you can return to eating fruit. But try eating what fruits you like while monitoring your BS levels. Be intelligent and use common sense and trust your intuition here.

    2. Can I have whole wheat bread?

    DHERBS: NO!

    3. Can I have eggs, or you consider them dairy?

DHERBS: NO! Eggs come from animal!

    4. What do you mean by cruciferous salad? Can I add tomatoes, celery, onions, etc.? Any limitations for vegetables?

DHERBS: Cruciferous means leafy i.e. leafy vegetables (Romain lettuce, Green lettuce). Yes, you can add other vegetables you like and desire.

    5. You've mentioned trail mix, are dried fruits allowed?

DHERBS: Yes, but watch your BS levels!

    6. How can I replace vegetable juices? Eat more cabbage and brussel sprouts? Are beans allowed in this diet?

DHERBS: You can't replace vegetable juice. Either you drink it or you don't! Eat more cabbage and brussel sprouts. Cooked beans are not allowed in the diet.

Q: I have read the passage about sickle cell anemia, but what about the trait? Is there anything that I can give my daughter for this, to clear up her blood?

    A:

You can't treat a trait! Sickle Cell trait was created by doctors to put fear and worry in your mind so that your thought and fear (of child having sickel cell) manifests into reality. When it happens, you will believe so because you were told the child had the trait anyways.

The best thing to do is cleanse the body with an emphasis on the blood, keeping it strong, nourished and clean; and eating healthy foods, mainly raw foods - the green foods (vegetables).
