Let me start by saying that I'm a vegan-raw foodist, however, I heard that tilapia fish - which some friends of mine's eat often - is a genetically altered or created fish.  Has anyone heard anything with respect to this?  When I ate meat, I used to always eat salmon.  I had never heard about tilapia until recently.

Yep tilapia is a graft. Don't know what they used to make it but I wouldn't trust anyone promoting the benefits of consuming it. Remember they clipped the waters with oil & since the fish is not coming from any other place besides the gulf, guess what types of metals are in those fish coming in those markets? Walked through the whole foods section & the dead fish was screaming stench on the ice display. Danger Wil Robinson 2 the 7th power.
