Mom off to get Hysterectomy

Hello all... this is concerning my mom I know yall can relate. Well for the last ten years she has been declining on a wholistic level probably due to her job (working too dam much and stress) and being a single parent most of me and my brothers life. Well lately she has been bleeding alot even when her period has already came for the month, but even then she bleeds heavily and profusely. I told her she seems anemic because her hair is breaking low energy and etc. But her diet is the root of it all. She eats mcdonalds and wendys (dollar menu) every damn day for each meal. And even when she prepares food at home its in a can or box. I started eating separately from her and my dad because their diet is so damn terrible (coke, cakes, processed food, fast food,meat and etc) but anyways she goes to the doctor and they say she had a huge fibroid they removed it last monday. So she recovered quite quickly so she was supposed to return to work monday of this week and she says when she went to get her checkup from her doctor to make sure she was safe to return to work he tells her she has to have a hysterectomy thursday of this week(today) because of another large fibroid. So I was like damn didnt he see the other fibroid when he cut you open a few days ago he could have removed it then. She looked at me crazy and was basically saying the doctor knows best. So I was instantly frustrated I went to the library and checked out books to heal fibroids naturally one was even called "the hysterectomy hoax". She scanned them and didnt even read them so I was telling her its not going to be a "light surgery" like removing a fibroid he is going to be taking away the organ that makes you a woman. I was like if you go through with this you are going to suffer and your other organs will have to pick up the slack which is not good. I was telling her there are several women who regret having it done anyways she shut me out and purposely put the books aside like they were dumb. I was also telling her she could just ask to get the fibroid removed instead of of a hysterectomy she was like my organs are severely messed up they need to be removed. I also tried to discuss some ways to detox and naturally dissolve the fibroids no response. So I asked her how big was her fibroid she said she didnt know I asked her did she know if he was taking out her ovaries cervix and fallopian tubes as well her repsonse UM I DONT KNOW . Now how dumb is that like my god mother told me white people used to say if u want to hide something from a nigger put it in a book and she proved me so right well lots of people do but she just left for surgery I just washed my hands of her and this situation, I just lost so much respect for her and doctors know that most black women are uneducated and wont take the time out to inform themselves and more than likely he will take all her reproductive organs out depending on how gullible he feels she is. I mean how you gone go in there and let them take your uterus out and you dont even have enough information on the procedure. Im not even going to feel sorry for her when she strats experiencing the after effects because I feel it was just an outrageous decision then it was only a week later from the first surgery. And shes a strict christain and she wonders why i dont attend church anymore before she became a strict christian she wasnt this close minded. And they always talking bout respect your temple but theyll let a doctor cut them up in a heartbeat man Christians are some of the most hypocritical people Ive ever came across. But anyways I just had to get that out. I figured that I will just read thiose books for myself and maybe start an organization to help black women avoid this procedure because they are the most targeted for heinous reasons i wont get into. I cant deal with close minded people its too emotionally draining.
