Written in 1938, this book is Napoleon Hill's "interview" with the Devil. It's heavy because the Devil admits that his greatest enemy is the human being that thinks for himself. He speaks of how he utilizes the various authority figures (incluing parents) and institutions to destroy independent thinking.

This book was kept from publication due to the 'controversial' nature of the book. Hill's wife, for fear of her husband losing her job, did not want the book published while she was alive.

This was a pretty good book. I read it in less than a week. Couldn't put it down. I can't see that I agree with everything in it, but it definitely rang true in many areas. Would definitely suggest it.
