Hey Folks!! I need some advice.

So, I am officially Vegan after my FBD detox last month. I had two major slip ups at work!! The first one gave me the BM's and stomach was straight hurtin!! I was like never again!! Dairy is for birds!!! I had a supposedly vegan burrito from the cafe, straight veggies, beans and salasa. So, I am eating it and half way through Im like this taste like it has cheese in it!! I pick it apart and low and behold it looks like cheese was built into the tortilla!!! I couldn't believe and neither could my body!! Geesh!!!

So, today I decided to get a veggie burger and french fries from the cafe. So, Im eating it and Im like this taste like it has cheese in IT! Im damn near done with the thing because I was soo hongry! The veggie burger was so big for the bun they had to cute it in half and I didn't eat the other part. So, I start pulling that apart and said that looks like damn cheese! I went back and ask the cooks, of course they said "I don't know if it has cheese in it". So, Im like well somebody needs to tell me! She's like well nobody's here that can answer you question, everyone is out too lunch. Im like this is some BS! So, I go ask my gurls at the smoothie spot and they said yes it has cheese in it and its not vegan!!! SMH!!! I know that I am going to be in for it tonight.

So, with all that said, I need tips on how to keep my system from giving me pain signals. I need some type of herbs/concoctions that I can get at the store or something. I wish Dherbs had stores all around Smiley

I after my slips up I notice lots of mucus in my throat and nasal area. I need to order the mucus and acid buster. I feel like I need to do the FBD after all this mess!!

Geesh!!!!!!

First off @Diamond you CANT come down on yourself cuz you slipped up twice. It is good that you realized you made an error so who cares I did the FBD had great results but I'm NOT a vegan just yet. I have cut out meat and some dairy like I don't eat "regular" ice cream and I don't drink cows milk or goat milk instead I do cashew cream and Almond Breeze Almond milk.

2. Be real with you and understand that your NEW to being a vegan and from like anything else its a process
not something you will innately understand and be perfect at. Have fun with your new lifestyle and make the best of it.

3. BM's are normal the blessing is that now after you FBD your body quickly recognizes foreign foodstuff and responded promptly whereas before your body was bogged down and would allow harmful and toxic foodstuff to sit in your body which made you
unhealthy...

Lastly, take these slipups in stride you know what you body wants and needs do your research and make meals that you find right for you...

Best of luck and I hope you won't beat yourself up cause made a tiny mistake  Wink Wink Wink

Awww! Thanks, Thanks, Thanks!!! I tell people the same-things all the time!! I guess it's nice to hear it from someone else. Smiley

You are right! I will take it in stride and learn from my mistakes!!! This is new and I am still getting use to everything but I wouldn't have it any other way.

Again, thank you for your kind words Smiley

I am finding that out Smiley..lol

I haven't tried to make my own yet. I usually just buy the Boca Vegan burgers and I like those. I would like to try a black bean one. You have a recipe you would like to share?? Smiley

Most burgers from fast food places have cheese...vegetarian-friendly but not vegan friendly. Have you thought of making your own and maybe even freezing them to warm up when you wan them? That way you know what you're eating. Like black bean or chickpeas or something like that?
