Is it okay to stare at it? (him?) We're not really on a buddy buddy basis, but I don't believe he minds. Sometimes I do stare, my eyes water I shed a light tear then I can see straight at him. Funny thing is there are no tears if I stare and smile. I recall once hearing that if you stare at the sun you could go blind (or ruin your eye sight), but I came to this plane with terrible vision anyway.

i believe you gaze at the sun during certain times, like when it is rising and/or setting.
