Thank you, I've been thinking about doing this, just concerned about making sure the place I go to is clean and does it hurt. Did your friend mention what their cleaning procedures are? Do they use a new nozzle for each patient?

Youre welcome! It didnt hurt for me...jus a lil discomfort at first.
She didnt say...but she is very picky...VERY picky about...everything lol. Im sure they use a new nozzle. The place i went to before used a new insert each time. Ill ask her tho. The one thing she really liked is how they give you the option to have someone in the room with you operating the machine and massaging your stomach (full-service option) or letting you do everything yourself after a demonstration and explanation; if you need help there is a bell you can ring and they will come in (self-service option). She did the self-service and found it to be easy after a little practice...this was her first colonic.

Update.
Ok had my first one done...whew chile, I went in there thinking I was so clean and that clear water was just going to come out... I was so wrong, but glad I over came my fear and got that mess out of me. I'm feeling light and happy :-). That place is good too, they were very nice and comforting.

I got the series, so I go back in a couple of weeks. I was rather crampy this time around, but she said it should be milder the next time. I had my bottle of water with me in case I felt light headed, but everything went really well.

right.
yeah another note, today I'm feeling a little bloated type pressure feel. Not painful, just feeling full today versue how I felt yesterday. After my colonics, I had steamed broccoli yesterday. I'm thinking maybe I should haven't eat anything right away and just drink water. Today I'm just mainly drinking water to hopefully get rid of this feeling, I'm guessing my insides are readjusting. Please let me know if anyone has experience this and tips to relieve it.
