Ok so...most women have cravings when they're pregnant, I have complete food turn-offs & to essential things too. I'm a little concerned!
I can't drink plain water! Though, I force myself to because I know it is the "element of life" but it disgusts me since I've conceived. Mostly, I find the only thing I really want to drink is carbonated drinks. I'm educated enough to know soda is not good for me or the baby, so I drink Italian mineral water w/lime in place of plain H2O. Is this ok?!
Another thing is healthy- or ANY- fats. The mere thought of consuming nuts or other high fatty foods- avocados, olives, seeds, oils- make me want to puke! These fats are vital for the proper development of my baby...right? I haven't found a way to supplement this w/natural, whole foods & flaxseed oil gives me the same reaction Tongue<blah> Should I just suck it up for the sake of the baby's development?
Doesn't my baby need these things? So why is my body turned off to them?
Other than that, I consume a relatively wholesome vegetarian diet full of raw fruits & veggies, whole grains & lots LOTS of sour stuff. I also take New Chapter Organic Perfect Prenatal whole-food multivitamin- is this good enough?

ANY OTHER WEIRD PREGNANCY TURN OFFS OR TURN ONS OUT THERE?

Well when I was pregnant I wanted Popsicles and chips (yeah I know, right Roll Eyes) but the thing that I just could not get with was salad, nowadays I'll make a salad so quick *hehe* but when I was carrying my son I didn't want it and the sauces were something to vomit about. Another thing was my sense of smell, I have allergies that I am overcoming through cleansing but when I was preggers you'd have thought my sense of smell was similar to a k9. certain types of air freshener would make me queasy and believe it or not hot sauce. But I think your issue is not the things themselves it your hormones, because as you'll experience everyday can be different not to say you'll be crazy today and tomorrow you won't, but you'll notice your taste can become different. Just focus on going with the flow, don't judge your feelings because then you'll be stressing. And be sure your vitamins are phosphates (i.e. iron phosphate, magnesium phosphate) because if they say sulfate then your body won't process it  Wink

Haha I love that you say "crazy today" & "tomorrow you won't" This is soo entirely true! I feel bad & truly blessed to have my amazing fiancé who loves me despite my prego insanity- I got him in a UFC chokehold in the beginning of the pregnancy!
Ugh yea I hate that I'm forcing mixed green salads down my throat. Do you know if I should just listen to my body? What advice were you given?
I'll be meeting with a midwife next Wednesday who can hopefully offer some answers too. Thanks a bunches for your input though Smiley
