I don't feel bad or worried. I am in the middle of immediate corrective health action (FBD and Total Woman Cleanse effective 3/6/2011). I look at this as a blessing and I need the mental and spiritual rest as well. Maybe it is the universes way of letting me focus on me and discover my own path. I look forward to having the time to meditate and be free of stress until another opportunity arises. Has anyone else ever felt this way about losing a job? Just curious!

Congrats! A new door has been opened for you. You are starting spring with the ability to renew yourself and your body. Smiley

I never lost a job, but I don't have one. Since graduating from grad school, I have had difficulty finding employment. Originally my plan was to work for 3-5 and then at 30 leave my job and take all the money saved up to start my business. Of course, somethings do no go as planned. Not finding a job since graduating has forced me to play my hand. Instead of waiting 3-5 years to start a business, I  started Closed Lids and am continuously revamping it to eventually reach my final goal. Sometimes these situations just make you start working on your goal more quickly.

There are def pros and cons to my situation.

the pros:
time- time for family, friends, writing, business, exercise, basically everything
cutting people off- i have used this time to be selfish. I have always been the person people come to for advice and help and everything and I have actually stepped back from that. I can't help people all the time because that takes away from my energy that could be used to help myself.
Money Management- def learning how to manage my money. i used to every time i went out, i would go shopping for a new outfit, purse, or something. sometimes would just go take random trips and stuff. But now, I am learning how to manage money a little better.

The cons:
money does not flow as quickly as if I had a pay check every week.
people making side comments
time- sometimes, this can be a disadvantage because i will have family calling me for favors- like picking up stuff from dry cleaner or kids from school. this can be annoying if I am in the middle of doing a dream consultation or writing for my book.

overall you will have a great time being free, but sometimes all the freedom can become stressful. especially when the money flow is not coming steadily. and then when people always hound you, it gets difficult ignoring them and doing you. you will have more positive days then negative, but occasionally you will feel the pressure.
