Is there a metaphysical meaning for a Stone/Crystal breaking?

I usually carry a few stones with me such a amethyst, hematite, onyx, lapis Lazuli....  but  2 months ago I was carrying a Sodalite stone including the other stones mentioned, and after about a week carrying it, it broke in my pocket.  Then a couple days ago my Red Garnet stone broke the same way.

Does that mean anything?  or is it just a natural occurrence that just happened.

you need to clean and recharge your crystal every now and then. when you lose a crystal, starts to have adverse effects, or it breaks, it means that it needs to be cleaned, it is losing its power.

i have never had a crystal break on me, but I have had a crystal bracket loosened up to the point where I almost lost it and I have a emerald and diamond ring that I rarely ever took off my finger and it started to work against me. So I took the ring off cleaned it and decided not to wear it for a few months(things have started to change for me since)

Also, a logical reason could be that you might have hit against something and that is why the crystals broke. Keep your stones in a pouch. You might also want to carry crystals that are neutral to negate all the stones. Some stones do not combine together, so you need to have a neutral crystal in the mix.

Just a sidenote: Don't get caught up in the thought that there is a metaphysical reason behind everything because you will begin to have your judgement clouded. Keep your eyes clear and then you will see things for what they are.

When a crystal breaks it means that something in your life has just broke open, that there may be discordant energies you're dealing with, or that you need to give that broken piece of the crystal to someone else. The meanings vary according to what's going on in your life.

Thank you both,  I'm going to clean my crystals longer than I usually do.   Also I'm going to give the other half to my Fiance, she needs it.  There are many things opening up in my life I am becoming more and more conscious everyday.
