Voodoo and Universal Laws

My friend' mother put voodoo on her, and she attributes this to heer negative experiences such as things falling out her hand, and her breakup with her boyfriend. However, I try to explian to her that her negative thinking is attracting things onto herself. Of course I know spirits can attach to people and sway theri behavior. I have come to realize I can not help her, and to leave her situation alone. She feels that I dont understand Carribean spirituality.So, my question is how does voodoo affect universal laws? By that I mean doesnt voodoo violate someone's free will? Or is it that we choose to learn these lessons in life beforehand?

Voodoo doesn't violate someone's freewill.  Keep in mind you have the freewill to give up your ability to have freewill.  Believing that external things can hurt you against your will is giving up your freewill.

I was going to say the exact same thing. Can't help someone who refuses to be helped naskat. I'd say give love show love and give your influence to bring them to a positive spectrum, but otherwise not much you can do.
