I've been in Greenwich, London for about two weeks now. I will be here for two more weeks until heading back home to the US. Since I've been here I have always been dehydrated and thirsty.  I buy 2 or sometimes 4 liters of water a day, but still can't seem to stay hydrated.  The issue I'm having is that I will only drink bottled water. I'm like that when I'm at home as well.  It's like I'm scared to drink tap water. I shower with in it and brush my teeth with it, but I refuse to drink it.  I consider myself pretty health conscious and I think that's part of the problem.  I will be dehydrated before I will drink tap water.  There's something wrong with that.  I think I have become addicted to bottled water out of the fear of what might be in tap water.  Dehydration is a very bad state to keep the body in.  I think that being dehydrated is worse than dealing with what may or may not be in the tap.  Does anyone else have these issues and how do you combat them?

Thanks

yeah it seems my body doesn't retain water that well, I can drink a lot of water, and it will flush right through me, leaving me still dehydrated.  I found this message board that gave some tips on drinking water.  It talked about the use of msm sulfur, adding sea salt to water etc...   Here is the link

So of course I just orderd Dherbs msm sulfur, so just waiting for my package to arrive.

Tariq, do you drink water according to your weight? Are you active? If you exercise and are active you need to drink more water.

yea i drink water according to my weight. I'm doing a lot more walking that I normally would back in the states.  It seems that even though I drink a lot more water I still seem thirsty.  I've been adding some sea salt to the water and that seems to help out a bit
