I honestly believe that the NBA (National Basketball Association), like other professional sports leagues, is rigged. Who in their right mind would break up championship and dynastic teams?

The Chicago Bulls were purposely broken up after the Bulls won their sixth overall and third consecutive NBA championship in 1998.

The Los Angeles Lakers were purposely broken up after their 2004 NBA Finals loss to the Detroit Pistons. Like the Chicago Bulls of the 1990s, the Lakers had won three consecutive championships and were basically invincible just like the Chicago Bulls of the 1990s that featured Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen.

The Bulls and Lakers were dynasty frnachises but dynasties are not good for business, especially if your business is gambling.

I've always said that Las Vegas not only controls gambling, but professional sports.

When you have invincible teams such as the Los Angeles Lakers and Chicago Bulls; San Francisco 49ers and Dallas Cowboys, etc., it's bad for gambling. The odds against caliber teams losing are too high.

Mike Tyson's dominance on the boxing scene in 1980s brought in money at the gate and for pay-per-view, but Tyson was not good for gambling purposes. So when you have two opponents and either one stands a chance at winning, this is good for gambling purposes.

Long-standing champions are not good anymore like they used to be.

Boxer Marvelous Marvin Hagler was a great draw to the gates, but his dominance of the sport was no good for gambling purposes. He destroyed everybody who came his way and owned the middleweight division of boxing for more than seven years consecutive until he was stripped of his belt by Sugar Ray Leonard who in my opinion soundly defeated Hagler, but according to boxing rules should have lost the fight to Hagler.

The same thing happened to heavyweight boxer and champion Larry Holmes who dominated the heavyweight division from 1979 to 1985 until Las Vegas stripped him of his title to crown a new champion, Michael Spinks, hardly a heavyweight champion which Mike Tyson easily demonstrated in just one round.

All of this was good for gambling purposes.

As far as I'm concerned, there will be no more Boston Celtics of the 1960s, Edmonton Oilers of the 1980s, or Mike Tyson's, Marvelous Hagler's or Larry Holmes of the 1980s.

Today, a dynasty is guaranteed only three consecutive years of winning. Don't think so? Just ask the Chicago Bulls, Los Angeles Lakers or New York Yankees.

Professional sports are rigged for revenue purposes.

These players and coaches cant say anything against the league or referees.   Not only do they have to wear suits, they also are under contract to do interviews following each game and the interviews, if u have just lost the game, are humiliating.  The Lebron interview, when he just lost the series against the Pistons and he had to sit through it and talk about the worst game he had ever played.  His coach has said he overplayed Lebron, but the fustrated Lebron, denied that he was tired and overplayed.   Shaq and his team were both fined b/c he refused the interview and the next press interview when he won, he appologized.   In last nites great championship game, Avery couldnt even say what every dallas fan knew, that the Wades gamewinning free throws was bull ish, that he barely was fouled, if fouled @ all.  When asked did he think Wade was fouled, he responded by asking the reporter, "Do u think he was fouled."  The reporter too avoided the question and Avery said that the reporters response was politically correct.   Every since the Artest brawl, they got these multimillion dolla platinum ballers on lock down and everybody gotta be like Magic and Mike.      They gotta represent the game and put a false "image" on the game, to the detriment of honesty.
