Going to get record expunged.

I have a record from 7-8 years ago, so Im going through the motions to make this happen get it expunged and I just find out, they originally charged me with possession of crack cocaine/heroin with intent to distribute, but now I have the record print out and theres Phantom charges... Poss/distribution of hypodermic needle, poss w intent to distribute marijuana/hash, drug paraophrenalia, recieving stolen property . Im more than a little pissed because the passed 8 years all this BULLSHIT was on my background checks , I cannot believe how easy they get away with this BS, Im seeing the lawyer tommorow so Im going to see what happens.

I had the same isssue, it only started a couple years ago. My background always come up different than my original offense. I called and faxed all original paperwork to the companies but nothing changes. The charges are reported by private background companies depending on who's inquiring. (Rental properties, jobs, credit reports etc.) Finally, the clerk of courts in the county where the offense was filed told me to just pay the court fee and then expunge the record because they cannot control whats reported just what they file.

Oh ok, well things are on there way to being handled and all should be good, clean slate finally. It's amazing that they can be so wreckless I mean what if my record said I commited a homicide and I didn't this is crazy.
