Metaphysics is confusing

When I read books about metaphysics alot people differ certain subjects. Alot of people's view contradict another person's view. As a result I am confused and don't know what to think or what is true. So I am going to stop reading metaphysical books. And just read things like Wayne Dyer or Deepak Chopra or something like that.

Don't get confused.  Just figure out what beliefs work for you and disregard the rest.  Me personally I stopped reading so many books because I got information overload.

Its hard not to get confused. When you read one thing and then another person comes along and says something totally opposite.
You don't know what to disregard because what you are disregarded just might be the truth.

There is no such thing as truth.  Only things that we make true or false for ourselves.

 That's the thing about joing a site late. You find out the convo done came and gone even tho it's hella interesting.

 Anyway. I stopped reading books sometime ago--and I recommend everybody else does too. As the beloved brotha Brandon said: do your own thang. Me too. I say make up your own truth. That's all SCIENCE/RELIGION (two sides of the same coin) have done. Burn ya books. It's like that movie RAZOR'S EDGE with Bill Mlurray. He carried his books all the way to the mountain top looking for enlightenment and discovered it was inside him all along (he had to burn his books to stay warm that's when it hit him....lol!). So, yeah, let 'em go.

 Reading just confuses people. BELIEVE NOTHING YOU HEAR , and EVEN LESS YOU READ. And NOTHING you SEE (illusion is a motha!)

 Altho I do say TRUTH exists. Except it's not for everyone. It's PERSONAL. You just have to locate it in the file. Can't Google it. But you can still let it find you. And it will as long as you remain AWARE. You'll know it.

PEACE & CHAOS, I AGREE TO CERTAIN POINT WITH BROTHER ABOUT NOT READING BOOKS. I MYSELF HASN'T BOUGHT A BOOK IN YEARS BUT THE REAL BOOK IS ALL AROUND US VIA PEOPLE AND JUST LIVING AND  BEING AWARE, BUT OF COURSE I CROSS REFERENCE THINGS BUT THEN AGAIN YOU HAVE TO DO WHATS WORKS FOR YOU. SOMETIMES I JUST BROWSE THE BOOK STORES AND READ THE TITLE AND CONTENTS OR MAYBE THE BACK OF THE BOOK AND THAT'S IT. THEN BEFORE YOU KNOW IT THE INFORMATION COMES FROM SOMEWHERE EITHER FROM FRIENDS, WEB, ETC.  BUT I THINK YOU WILL HAVE TO HAVE SOME TYPE OF FOUNDATION FIRST  BECAUSE WE AS ADULTS MINDS HAVE BEEN ZAPPED BY THE MACHINE.

I'd say when you first coming into the KNOWLEDGE and KNOW-sis of SELF--do SELECTED reading. Read only the best books by people you trust to recommend same. I read for a FOUNDATION for bout 6 YEARS--then just let it go because it was REPEATING itself. Basically, once I discovered MYTHOLOGY--the reading game was over. Most of the world's myths are the SAME with names and faces changed as well as locales. When you read a PEOPLE'S Myths you find out things about them you never thought would come to light.

 If you're an INITIATE (via yourself)--I wont say WHAT to read, my advice would be more WHERE to read. As in AREAS, DISCIPLINES such as MYTHOLOGY and GENETICS (an area I feel EVERY sista should study on since according to MYTH after MYTH--it was a woman who took a GENE from herself and made the ENTIRE WORLD). Those two areas will break it all down for you.

 And MOST IMPORTANT of all STAY in TRANCE/MEDITATION as much as possible, speaking with self. After awhile, you just wont need to read BOOKS except for a CROSS REFERENCE that your SUBCONSCIOUS gives you. (However, truthfully speaking I done got tired of CROSS REFERENCING shit too--I say whatever comes to me. I dont bother with FACTS...lol! If what I say happens to line up with facts, that's kool but most facts are made up and are only good for SOCIOLOGICAL and/or POLITICAL reasons--that's why they do not give them any substance in a court of law ).

 At any rate, take your time sista...be relaxed about it. It will come to you.

However, Nay Nay, don't be so quick to discard reading. Remember, other people's words (thoughts) are the building blocks for your own words/thoughts. See and use them as stimulators. After all, you do have your own mind!

I'm with my brothers Ramu and Mutwasze, I don't need to read books today nor do I read like I used to. Today, I channel MY information from the ethers and Akasha. Often I think of a thing and find it corroborated in a book. The energy of the Universe and planet supports channeling, because the Rulers have done much damage with books and also successfully controlled us and took over the world with books. They have controlled information and knowledge with books. They have prevented much needed information and knowledge with books (mainly via their public fool system), slowing down our evolution of consciousness.

A good book to read on how we channel the information and knowledge we require today is Barbara Marciniak's "Path to Empowerment!" Awesome book!

Now even though I don't read as much today, I still buy books for the energy (they emit) as well as my library (building it). I saw my book collection from a past life via past life regression/hypnotherpay sessions and remember it. I saw it so vividly, even during the 1770s when I was a free Black man during American slavery and when White folks was fighting for their freedom against Britain (I was free due to my knowledge; and the White elite consulted with me). I've always had books on my journey so this lifetime is not surprising to me know that i know.

There are some awesome books out. I recommend reading books along the lines of: metaphysics, quantum physics, the paranormal, spirituality, Eastern philosophy, mysticism; wicca/witchcraft, astrology, divination/oracles/magic; speculation (secret societies, ET, conspiracy, hidden history; ancient societies); self-help/self-empowerment; inspirational; American law, martial arts; sex/sexuality; human health/diet & nutrition; alternative health and healing; psychology, energy/vibrational healing; death/NDE's/ghosts; Goddess studies, etc.

There's a lot of good stuff to still read and collect!
