 This book covers the problems with "civilization" and is hands down one of these best books that I have read in a long time. I can hardly put it down to get other things done:)

A definite must read!

One of the reasons we fail to perceive all this is that we-the civilized-have been inculcated to believe that belongings are more important than belonging, and that relationships are based on dominance-violence and exploitation.  Having come to believe that, and having come to believe the acquisition of material possessions is good (or even more abstractly, that the accumulation of money is good) and in fact the primary goal of life, we then have come to perceive ourselves as the primary beneficiaries of all this insanity and injustice.   (a paragraph from the book)

Not just a good read...its a. Great read! I love it when authors go places, others are afraid to and it gets into hard to answer questions and problems. This is a REAL book. I will definitely be sharing more when I get further. Won't take long as much as I like it:)
