Some type of birth control that they insert into your cerveix and dispenses levonorgestrel directly into your uterus.

I'm not sure what to think of this.

chemical birth control is the devil. it's messed me up so bad physically and emotionally. i've been off it for almost two months now and i have eczema. never had it before, so i figure it's the birth control leaving through the skin. Tongue

Me too!!!  I started taking it last summer and I stopped in October and as a result I've been dealing with a thyroid problem and slight acne. So that's what that is. Taking kelp is helping a lot. Fortunately, my detox herbs are coming tomorrow. I'm doing a more gentle cleanse before I do the FBD.

I had the Mirena installed back in Dec 2008. Earlier this year, I started bleeding very heavy during my menstrual cycles and they lasted for more than a week. I went to the doctor and she told me that the Mirena was coming out so she went ahead and removed it. I was so happy that thing was gone. I never felt right about having a foreign object in my body. I think my body sensed that and rejected it. I've been using dherbs herbal contraception for the past almost 3 months and yes ladies, it does work!   Grin

The Mirena sounds similar to the IUD - I've heard a story of a baby being born clutching the IUD in its fist. Huh

So tell your friend be careful, or better yet, try Dherbs herbal contraceptive.

are you taking kelp for the acne? i've been drinking red raspberry leaf tea, dandelion tea, and i just started taking evening primrose oil for the skin.  if the skin doesn't clear up soon, i'm in for more cleansing.

Well the kelp is for my thyroid. For my skin I've just been drinking lots of water and I've been washing my face with black soap, and using shea butter that I added olive oil, tea tree oil, neem oil, evening primrose oil, and carrot seed oil. For me the acne only come during certain times of the month. So far, so good. I'm gonna have to look into getting some red raspberry leaf tea. I was thinking about making dandelion tea with plants that grow wild in my back yard, but I wasn't sure if you use the leaves or the root.

So... nobody approves... XD

I hope this thing doesn't adversely affect my friend 2 much.

Tell you friend to check this out.

You use the root. I haven't made it but on the box of my tea it says root. and for the shea butter and other oils are for moisturizing? my skin is so dry. i've added olive oil and coconut oil to try and moisturize the areas that get eczema.. it seems to calm the itch although not as much as i would like.
i heard you could cleanse your face with oil, but i'm weary of that. i might try it, but for now i wash with honey and use a honey based moisturizer. i don't really have problems with acne though.
