I have the same problem with oranges.  I gave up on finding a decent grape.  It has been YEARS since I have seen a seeded grape.  I'm appalled that stores like Whole Foods and Trader Joes do not carry organic seeded grapes nor oranges.  Actually I haven't been able to find any kind of organic grapes.  Our "health food" store sells everything but organic produce.  I drive three towns away a couple times a week to do my grocery shopping.

Exactly! What about watermelons? I have not seen a watermelon with seeds in them for ages. I have never tasted a seedless grape before, and I refuse to. I think that the consequences for eating a seedless friut will affect your vitality. Also, isn't it true that if you continure to eat seedless fruit you will become barren, and unable to produce offspring?

I've experience the same thing from whole foods. I have a tomato that’s been on by counter for about a week that sprouting. Yes, spouting little green leaves. I don't know what type of tomato (gmo?) I have but I have never seen anything like it.Shocked

Oh wow! Yea, I rarely shop at whole foods any more...i go to the local health food store cause all the produce is organic and mostly local! The only thing I get from whole foods now is my water.

Wow... they got the watermelons too?  I knew eating GMO foods were bad, but barren?  What is this world coming to?!  Oh, duh!  Hell in a handbasket.  I'm sure the elite is eating all the organic non-GMO foods they want to continue their bloodlines.  I'm ready to get up out of here.

Ewww... I prefer mine to rot after about a week or so.

I seriously have no choices where I live.  I'm definitely going to need to make some moves very quickly!

You all should goto the local Asian or Thai Markets. The one near me has all the best fruit from the tropics, etc. I bet your local ones have the seeded joints.

Wow! First and foremost I have to say while this thread was educational, it was also hillarious. Love- LOL yeah this world is very much going downhill (particularly the U.S.)

I'm in the metro-D.C. area and am guilty of not "doing my homework." I recently turned to the Whole Foods Market in Silver Spring, but there's something about that store that makes me want to choose elsewhere, particularly for food. I am very unattracted to their produce aisle, but am taking advantage of getting Almond Milk for .99 from there.

Moreover, I went there the other day to get some toothpaste, and froze at the thought of getting Tom's of Maine brand. I remember in 06' I first learned about the dangers of toothpaste and was recommended Tom's brand, but then refused it because it contains Sorbitol and SLS, which is toxic to the body. Anyway I asked the sistah in there why Whole Foods carried Tom's of Maine despite having Sorbitol and SLS and she said they're supposed to be moving it out soon. To say the least I ended up purchasing PEELU and it isw just fine.

To get back to the thread, someone mentioned a Roots Health Food Store in DC? I gotta check that out, and head there tomorrow morning. Although I'm not well-versed in metaphysics, I do agree with the thought that consuming seedless produce could be harmful on deep[er] levels. I'm not in FL anymore so I lost access to seeded watermelon; I too like this and need to find it around here.

Oh, and before I go to the person who is in the Baltimore area- the best I can suggest for now is go out to Hunt Valley (north Baltimore County) to a place called Wegman's...they may have some organic-seeded produce, and relatively cheap at that!

You know as soon as I finished that post I forgot to mention MOMs! There is one out by Greenbelt that I can get to easily. I have meant to get out there for quite some time. I will be there tomorrow.
