My nephew (aged 6) is going to Jamaica for two weeks on 24th March, My sister does not want him to have a malaria shot- but would rather him have some herbs or something that will protect him on his stay.
My brother-in-law feels he needs nothing, what do you suggest?
thanks a lot

Greetings sis,

I would tend to agree with your brother in law. I've taken my 2 children to Ja on several occassions and have never given them anything. In fact, mosquitoes hardly touched them. Its the sweetness in the blood that they like so the best deterent is to bitter up the blood with herbs. I make up my own repellent using almond oil and citronella e.o. Hth!
