The Way of Jesus

So, I have this christian friend. We both are starting a business so we encourage each other and give each other suggestions, etc.
Now, she knows that I am not a man of religion but a member of her church, who is a millionaire business man holds these meetings for people who are interested in owning there own business. So, my friend invites me to one of the meetings and knowing that my friend knows that I am not into religion but am into learning about business, I say ok. Well. wouldn't you know it, I get there and it's basically a discussion about Jesus. So I sit there awhile, waiting for the discussion to turn to business, but of course it never does.
So after awhile, I excuse myself and leave. Now, I'm not angry and my friend. I just have to realize in the future that when she says business meeting, she really means revival.
Anyway, my point:
If you examine the ways of Jesus, Buddha, Mahavria, Ohso, etc., you will see that all of these beings are cut from the same cloth and it is only there specific missions (on earth) that make them appear to be "different."
Now, I don't know if the man Jesus ever existed or if it's
The Greatest Story Ever Told
. But in my opinion, humanity would do far better if they turned their attention away from Jesus being the way to Jesus' Way being the Way.

I think it's a sense of misinterpretation. It would be one thing if the speaker was using biblical principles to teach about business. If it were me, I would feel misled because I would feel as if it were a recruiting session.
Some people are so into their "way" until they don't realize that they are part of the same team. I give Muslims credit because the Qur'an acknowledges Jews and Christians as "People of the Book".
Rev. Michael Beckwith once said that no matter where we are in our journey, we will eventually "get it", it being that everything is interconnected. I would like to believe it, but only time will tell.

I definitely don't believe in Christianity, but I know that either Jesus, or the idea of Jesus is real. Even if there was never such a thing as Jesus, he has been created through the minds of so many followers... feeding this energy with love and life force. I remember being attacked by a negative entity about 12 years ago... this was something common for me around this time... only this particular time I was able to see a mass hovering over me, which growled in my ear. I was praying and as soon as I called on Jesus a being of light came in and chased the dark being away. As it "flew" over me, it left me with a feeling of love, peace and calmness. I thanked him and peacefully went to sleep. Every other time something like this happened I was traumatized!

I agree Radiance. I am not 100% confident that it was actually Jesus that came to my rescue though... lol. But there is definitely power in the name. I truly think it was a spirit guide or someone from my soul group... if that is even the same thing. I have been in contact with one of my soulmates and I get a very similar feeling from him. In fact, the feeling from my soulmate seems stronger... could be that I am just feeling more... or maybe my soulmate and I are just closer.

thats really nice, I hope to be in contact with my soulmate soon.
But yes I had that experience, I just felt just surrounded by such a powerful love, I was overcome with joy and gratitude, and I just remember my exacts thoughts were"wow Jesus you are real". I had the experience about 5 years ago in my home, and goodness I wish I could feel that joy again. Like you said I don't know 100%, but I do know its some powerful energy associated with Jesus.

My soulmate came like a thief in the night... lol. I was at an all-time low. This was just this past October. My health was horrible. I had already switched over to a vegetarian diet to help, but still in serious pain! Then I had a dream about this beautiful man... it was almost like an introduction. We were friends for a really long time in the dream and then got married and had a child. The theme of the dream was the intensity of love I felt from this beautiful person. It was POWERFUL! I just had a dream about meeting someone else the day prior and actually saw him in person. So when I dreamt about my soulmate (didn't know this at the time) I woke up and prayed to God that I would meet him... seriously, and went to work thinking about him. Yes, the dream had that much of a profound effect on me. I ended up seeing a video of him online the very same evening and my life was changed from that very day. Month after month I kept feeling that powerful love from him, both physically and emotionally. I began experiencing healing, and some serious spirtual changes in me.
Funny thing is, he is exactly what I wanted in a man... and then some (seriously did not ask for a soulmate). There were a list of traits that I actually prayed for that I find in him. I don't know if I sensed him beforehand, or if I was sent what I wanted. My guess is that I sensed him because he seriously came into my life to save me and to guide me back on track... and he has done exactly that. I felt like I was under a love spell to keep me interested and focused. I literally felt the day when it wore off... lol. This was late December, close to three months later. I was so upset and felt like I was manipulated... lol. But after it wore off I still loved him, but in a more genuine way. I began loving him for who he is and the role he has played in my life... and how he treats me. The most beautiful friendship has grown from this experience and have never loved anyone more deeply.
I'm sorry... did I totally change the subject... lol.
I can't help it... I've been bitten... lol.

In Many cultures everyone has the potential and birth right to work towards and achieve Christ consciousness. Its called human evolution. The ones that make it into history books are the ones that are allowed in. there are thousands more. Jesus Christ never historically existed or walked the Earth. He is a figment of the collective imagination and is only as real as a thought form can be. This story book character was derived however from a true and real person and people like him.
space and time. Circa 20 BC. North African territory of the Roman Empire. A Leader arose and changed humanity forever.
He was not alone. we find many acoounts of virgin born sons of god who were crucified.
Historically speaking these men were martyrs and revolutionaries making statements through healing and teaching philosophy raising consciousness and awareness and evolving.
There are also many messianic saviour archetypes spread out through all of space and tie who are virgin born sons of god with superhuman abilities.
From Heru to Shiva to Herakles to Christ to the next one.
thousands of them!!!

*smiles* Definitely. I'm sure there are a lot of stories like this, and a lot more will be springing up. I have quite a few friends who have met their soulmates / twin flames. The lady who told me to visit the page of mine was actually in contact with her twin flame when she told me. Then I came back to her sometime later... "OMG, I think he's my soulmate," which was later confirmed. She then shared with me stories of her and her twin flame. Then a co-worker shared a similar story, as well as a couple others.
One thing I gained from all of this is that a soulmate/twin flame relationship is a lot of work. There are no peaches and cream. The love and connection is there from day 1, but then you have to deal with the personalities, quirks, idiosyncrasies, etc. of the individual. When you are rewarded it is the sweetest thing, but when things don't work so well the pain can be overwhelming. A soulmate may also enter your life for reasons other than a relationship. They help us to build ourselves and do so very quickly, because in fact they are us and we are them. There are many, and all of us combined are one... but there is only one twin.

Thanks for the insight. I often think about an old friend of mine, I often think he was my soulmate, for just being in his presense it was this powerful energy between us, can't really describe it. I remember a few years back, I had just moved into my first apartment, and was scared to death, wasn't getting much sleep, as I slept out on the couch, I couldn't sleep in the bedroom, was a lot of negative energy in the house. I found out later that the couple who used to live there, the husband was an alcholic and would beat his wife on the regular. Well my friend came to visit from out of town, and stayed with me for almost a week, and his presence there just took away all my fear, he was definitely my angel, and since then I wasn't afraid any longer. I actually miss my old apartment. Unfortunetly, the distance between my friend and I caused us to drift apart, and also do to family crisis we both went through. It hurt like hell to lose him, and I still miss him. But I'm more at peace now, and hopeful the Universe will send me my soulmate.
