i noticed that he has bulked (and inked) up since the holistic wellness for the hip hop generation video.

okay, i now see why he felt the need to elaborate on his influences in that link you posted. i'm not sure how prince works his musical magic, but he does it very well.

this, on the other hand, just doesn't seem as natural for some reason. maybe i have to watch it a few more times before it clicks...lol

I was laughing at this video the whole time because I looked this guy up after watching an interview with him as he was getting pumped up about his music and he just sorta went ballistic and totally got all up in the camera and was yelling and junk like he was all hard and gangsta talking about fake rappers and stuff and then I saw this!!!!

Yeah, this is creative but does not do it for me--it's missing the sexual vibe that exudes from the medium (film, video, audio) as often occurs with Prince (though Prince's looks don't do it for me either).  Looking at Prince you would not think he would make most women feel *that way*, sometimes it feels like Prince consciously projects sexual energy during his performances. Maybe Midnite was just a game or a creative exercise in tribute to Prince.

he has a video on youtube explaining why he did Midnite. I couldn't take it seriously and laughed  ... I like Prince's music but them ruffle shirts and his processed do, don't do it for me. I cant be laid up with a man whose make up... well who wears make up
