I was privileged enough to see WAR live at the Birchmere in Alexandria Va, great venue and an AMAZING show!

I'm sure it was. I LOVE War. Lol! Look at me getting excited over a band that's at least 10 years older than me. No wonder my friends say I act like an old woman.

So true. I am an old soul. I could tell you some interesting things about some of my past lives, lol.
I'm sure it also has to do with my family not having cable tv or a radio in our house for most of the 90's, so the only way my siblings and I would hear new music is if we left our house, which wasn't very often. I listened to whatever my parents liked and I grew to love it.

I too prefer old music.  I LOVE me some stuff from the 50's and 60's... lol.  I know.  I used to be embarrassed by it and listened to it in private.  Smiley

I must have had a GREAT life around that time... lol.

You should keep up with my blog if you love old music. Every other week I recommend old school songs.
